Love the Apple speaker. It is like having Siri right in my home not just my phone. It’s helps when me or my wife is doing something and we want to put music in for our daughter. And the sound quality on the speaker is amazing for being so small.

Works as my home hub, gives your house Siri basically. Nice to get siri without your phone. Ones linked to my Apple TV and on the wall next to the bed so I can keep quite while watching at night

Wife purchased 2 at Christmas, as intercom, purchased another for kitchen. Integrated with Homekit, Hey Siri, play Neil Young, or Hey Siri what is weather today. Also purchased Logitech CircleView Doorbell, recordings do not leave Apple. Can use homepod to talk to delivery person at door. Added Ecobee thermostat. Hey Siri, what is the temperature in the house?

The sound from this HomePod speaker is amazing. And if you buy two of them, it is easy to set up in stereo and sounds even better. The bass from these speakers is exceptionally good. You use the Home app on you iOS device to set the HomePod up and to update them. Also has Siri on them.

Use it everyday at work! I work from home amd this neat little device helps me for reminders, alarms, and all day music. Never thought a smart speaker would be as useful as this.

Works great when paired with another mini for stereo sound, especially with Apple TV.

Sounds great for such small device. Also very handy to get remote access for Apple Home and for using Thread enabled smart home devices.

Excellent color! Plug and play with Apple iphone and amazing sound for a small speaker! Definitely recommend buying this speaker. I believe this soeaker can be paired with other Apple homepods for a studio surround sound experience, which is a hugh bonus.

Love the Homepod mini! My homekit smart device network runs so much more smoothly with at least one of these around. Plus, turning on the TV when my hands are full.. is just plain convenient. ;-)

Original purchase was an open box item from my local Best Buy and I returned it when it did not operate correctly. Best Buy promptly replaced it, no questions, with a new one for the discounted price. This one is placed in my bathroom and what I like most about it is that when I am in the shower and music is blasting I don't have to shout to be heard by Siri.

This is easily the most useless and unsuccessful Apple product I’ve owned. It’s the first time I’ve felt genuinely undersatisfied with an Apple purchase. Apple markets HomePod as offering “seamless transfers,” but that only applies to music. You cannot transfer or use it for app-based calls like Zoom, Teams, or WhatsApp. A basic $30 Bluetooth speaker can handle those without issue. In that sense, this is objectively worse than a cheap speaker. Sound quality is not impressive either. It’s fine, but nothing special, and in my experience not better than an Amazon Echo. For the price, it’s overpriced and underwhelming. The behavior is also unreliable. It randomly starts playing music without any clear trigger, and when that happens, you often can’t even stop or control it properly from the phone. This has happened multiple times, and it feels unpredictable and buggy. Connection with a Mac is unstable. You cannot rely on it as a permanent external speaker. It disconnects, fails to reconnect, and generally does not behave like a normal audio device. Bottom line: this is not a smart speaker in any practical sense. It’s a very restricted music appliance with confusing limitations that Apple does not clearly disclose. Honestly, a $15 knockoff Bluetooth speaker would be more versatile and seamless for everyday use. Extremely disappointing.

For years, I have been thinking about buying this HomePod for the house, and finally got the chance to buy it! Able to listen to music, send voice messages to my wife when I'm out and about, and nice to have at home. I wouldn't recommend having it if you work outside as it is not loud enough. Nice to have if your in a room or office.

Amazing sound quality no random ads like, she who shall not be named. However unlike other smart home assistants Apple doesn’t pair with random 3rd party light etc so unless you buy Apple compatible lights she isn’t going to be flipping on the lights for you like some other similarly shaped ad spewing spheres.

Great sound, get in a pair though! The single speaker by itself is good, a reasonably priced smart speaker. With a stereo pair though, it blows anything else out of the water. It feels like a high fidelity speaker pair and the smart functions integrate with the Apple ecosystem wonderfully, if other smart speakers have left things to be desired with Apple compatibility, these are for you!
