I bought it open box. It looks brand new! Works perfectly. The only thing is that it took me some time to pair it to my devices at home. It seems that the BestBuy people are not factory resetting them.

With wired speakers around the house and airplay enabled receiver I didn’t think I needed this. Added to our detached garage to connect other IoT devices to homekit app. Works great for that and I’m enjoying the speaker features enough I may add more on the house.

This speaker sounds great and is easy to set up. And if you get two you can pair them up to have surround sound, close to atmos as you can get without actually having speakers thru out the room.

Not the best sound in the world but still impressive for the size.

Sounds i really good, but connectivity is a real headache, having to manually touch the screen to wake it up and hoping it works, which most times it does not. I returned after a long and painful week.

I love these things I have them in every room in the house and use it for home automation with my Lutron light switches. Hopefully I don’t say anything that is going to get me locked up by the Biden brown shirts

I bought this speaker to place on a kitchen countertop. I have an open-concept kitchen with an adjacent family room and dining space. This speaker is placed at the center of this combined space. The sound is impressively loud and clear. We can talk to Siri with a normal level voice across the room, even when music is already playing loudly and she can discern the instructions. Within the Apple ecosystem (we all have iPhones and Apple Music family plan), this device is a very convenient extension. Whenever we are in the kitchen/family room area we just talk to Siri via this HomePod to get things done. I'm also buying HomePod minis to extend this functionality throughout the house.

Sound is amazing especially when you have 2 or more HomePods running in stereo mode via AirPlay 2, but even just one shakes the house. The bass is clean and mids and highs are really clean and crisp as well. Love what apple did here.

What a great and useful Apple device. It helps with finding phones, listening to music, weather news, and answering random questions. Serves as a companion as well.

I love this little speaker! I use it in my bedroom and its perfect!

Home pod connects through Bluetooth and uses Siri. Just like the “hey Alexa” home pod uses “hey Siri” and I like how I don’t always have to find my phone or manually do it. The sound is amazing. It is loud and really balanced.

The Only thing that I don't like it, is that is wired and not wireless!

This is the second (4) that I purchased.the first ones went in the master bedroom. The second (4) went in too the guest bedroom. I love the sound. Rich, full sounding speakers that don’t take up a lot of room.

Amazing device. I have multiple. Makes smart home control seamless and excellent music quality.

If you plan to use it in a small apartment or home scenario, this is a great deal. It works great and its microphone can really pick up your voice from pretty far. 10/10

Good sound as compared to Echo but think the larger version is what I may look into.

This is the best thing I think I have ever purchased. Having a speaker that links to my phone is so convenient, especially being able to use it as an alarm clock. Because my household runs off of Apple products only, this was such a great purchase. I actually plan on purchasing more to fully sync my house.

My home and life are pretty much apple dominated from pc to phone to Apple TV, so pretty much nothing to it for set up. I have 2 set up in my living room that link to the tv for surround sound.

Purchased this homepod to use as a thread border router and it has been great to make my smart devices on thread to work near instantaneously. I also use it for music occasionally and the sound is decent for the speaker size.
