Sound quality is excellent! Connects like a charm. Small and mighty.

I bought this to replace a first generation HomePod that was in the kitchen. Given that HomePods are selling at twice their original price on eBay and I only used it while cooking, it made sense to me to sell and replace it with a mini. We're deeply in the Apple and Siri eco-system, so it helps with cooking timers, turning stuff on/off, and listening to music and podcasts. So why just 4 stars? The first generation HomePod's sound is just really hard to beat. The mini sounds tinny and shallow, but I'm also an audiophile with a collection of speakers, hifi components, and more headphones than people probably should have, so take my opinion on the sound with a grain of salt. We do have two minis in the main bedroom and when paired together for stereo, you can get close to the sound of a single HomePod. Ultimately, if you need something to just provide background music while doing chores in a single space, the mini fills that need and at $100, it's a good value.

Works great with the rest of my apple products and home ecosystem and surprisingly loud for a compact speaker. Am using it in the master bath and have one in the master bedroom as well; high wife approval factor.

I went from Amazon Alexa to Apple Siri. I much prefer HomePod due to the fact of all my Apple devices being connected. I love the way the Apple ecosystem works and HomePod fits right in. Not to mention the better sound quality of my HomePod mini in comparison to my Echo Dot. I also found that the HomePod has more useful features than my Alexa did. I know you can set up Alexa so that it has the ability to make and receive phone calls but I never could figure it out. With HomePod it was a breeze and makes life much easier when at my office desk doing work. HomePod and Alexa are nearly identical and I wouldn’t recommend making the switch from Alexa to HomePod but I would recommend purchasing a HomePod over and Alexa if your a first time buyer and if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem.

It was very easy to use. I love the sound quality and it hooked up easy to the other Apple products I have within my home.

Apple is known for making really well engineered and quality products, not always very cost effective but very very good quality. The HomePod is an exception to that case. It’s a really quality product and it’s actually priced really well. I’m super happy with her and I love the ability to hand off my phone calls to one seamlessly. End it does a great job of recognizing me and my girlfriends voices and keeping our preference is separate and calendars and everything. I hope they continue to expand the offering, it would be nice to see a bit larger speaker. I’ve got several of them all over the house now and they pair really well in stereo and they sound fine when it’s just one. I am well pleased. Coupled with Apple Music it’s a pretty great home whole home audio solution.

We've been working on setting up a Smart Home and the homepods have been a great alternative to using Amazon and Google products that I trust much less with what data they are collecting. The sound on them is great, they're easy to set up and use.

I bought one and liked it so much I bought 3 more. Although I use Echo dots for communication, these blow the dots away for sound. I can't believe how something so small can sound so good. Very easy to set up and to pair if you want stereo sound.

For this being this small the sound is amazing, I was a little hesitant when deciding to get this along with my new Apple TV but it’s amazing and highly recommended it, plus it doesn’t create a dust right like the original HomePod

Excellent room filling sound, but I was a bit disappointed to find out that it doesn’t connect direct to my smart bulbs. Siri also isn’t as good of an assistant as Alexa. However, the sound quality is fantastic for a tiny speaker, and if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem, the ease of use can’t be beaten.

Great sound and space saver. My only disappointment is that I thought it was wireless. Great value for the price I paid. Would definitely recommend.

I must say that I really like Apple Products, and this is no exception. The sound is great and I like the fact that it is a Smart Speaker. I am still considering purchasing the larger HomePod as well because I prefer more base in my music.

Work well and is easy to pair with existing Apple products. For being a small speaker the sound is good. Does sometimes have trouble connecting to the internet which is a bit of a bummer as I have never had that issue with an Amazon product. Set up was a bit of a pain, but after the initial set up it’s easy to use.

The sound the HomePod mini provides is excellent in my small bathroom. I do like the fact I can transfer my song I’m listening to directly from my phone to the speaker with a tap of the phone. Only reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is there are other speakers I have that produce better sound for the price point.

I didn’t realize that this wasn’t a wireless speaker. Buying an Apple product who would’ve thought they’d be selling something that needs to be plugged into a wall the entire time. I bought this as a gift and would’ve gone with a beats pill or another wireless speaker. The speaker does sound very well.

Just what I need for my small home office space. The sound is exceptionally good for a 100 square foot area. For a speaker the size of softball it’s all one can ask for and the price is a big plus for a Apple product. Well worth the investment.
