Well it sounds great. The only thing is that I thought this was wireless. It’s not. So that’s the only downside of it.

Apple always shines with their unbeatable integration amongst their products. This is a great first step if you’re looking to automate your home and already have or plan to have apple products. It seamlessly works with all your devices out of the box and is super easy to set up new HomeKit compatible products.

Super easy to set up. Dependable. Makes for a great speaker. Let’s be real though. This is an Amazon speaker competitor, and in my opinion, Alexa works better than Siri. I have many Apple products that I enjoy outside of Siri. This, I use only for a Level lock that requires HomeKit to be used over the internet. For this purpose, it works great. As an Amazon competitor, it’s too pricey. One star gone for price. 4 stars total, because of the HomeKit value.

First thing -- Apple HomePod is meant for Apple Music subscribers and those who want to listen to music in their house in the background every day, while cooking, working, playing, relaxing and anything else you do at home where music can enhance an activity. (Dancing like no one is watching included.) Second, it is the most useful if you have Apple and/or HomeKit products. You will need an iPhone or iPad to even set it up. Siri may not be the brightest, but frankly I don't need to order an Uber, buy Amazon stuff sight unseen or have a pressing need to know a Ferret's average length. I love the HomePod so much I bought two! Yes, I am anxious for Apple to update the software for stereo and house connected music playing, but I am ok with waiting because I get so much benefit from it now. It is liberating to be able to play music - any kind I wish to hear at any volume I desire - by simply asking Siri. I love adding reminders, using the timer and alarms, and, yes, I have asked Siri to do a measurement calculation for me while I am cooking. I have Hue lights throughout the house and it is wonderful to just speak into the air and have the lights turn off or on. Does anyone really need the convenience ? Of course not. But once you get used to integrating "Hey Siri ...." into your daily life, it feels like it has always been that way. A small step towards the Jetson's way of life. Now if only I could purchase a flying car...

WOW! I got this to replace my Google Home Mini in the bathroom and this is by far better than any of those little speakers. The sound is impressive (could use a little bass) overall and it makes my morning routine so much more enjoyable. Plus with AirPlay 2 you can use it with other Homepods or Sonos around the home and it is truly spectacular. Beyond impressed with how the sound turned out.

I have a house full of Echo devices, and I'm beginning to replace them with these Apple HomePods. Since we have many iPhone, iPads, and Apple TVs in the house, it just makes it easier and better to have a HomePod system which easily works with everything else. The sound on these is great, and I really do like the minimal style of them. Definitely going to being picking up more of these.

I've been using apple product for years. Packs a lot of sound for a small speaker and compatible with all my devices.

Got this for my college dorm, and it definitely has some issues with shared wifi. I have yet to try it at home on a private network, but for those who are looking for a smart home device in a dorm, maybe just wait until you have your own wifi network. Otherwise, it is a fantastic product whenever it works, and as a speaker, it is 100% worth the price if you aren't looking for something that is strictly portable.

I really like my Alexa but needed an upgrade to fit with my Apple devices. I really like it! I did have some trouble setting it up but it might have just been my WiFi connection.you really get the full experience if you have or are working on having a Apple ecosystem it is really handy, Siri will turn on my lights, play music, pause/play my movie or tv show as well as doing the basics like weather,time,help with questions, etc.
