Decent sound, but nothing impressive.

It lacks the bass and volume of the original. Also, have had issues with Apple Support in terms of Thread networking. They advertise it for this product, but it’s not fully implemented from what I understand. I have two of these set up as a stereo pair, it helps but still can’t match one original HomePod. I would wait for the next version of the Mini. Siri isn’t any better on it either.

Mini with a punch!

Sure it lacks the surround sound and the spatial awareness but speaker of this size is not meant for that. I recently switch back to Apple Music and I really like the handoff feature. Using a stand alone Mini already sounds good, a stereo pair makes it better.

Excellent sound and easy to use

We have been so please how easy it is to use. The sound quality is excellent, nearly as good as the much more expensive and larger HomePod we use as well.

The sound quality is excellent and less visually imposing. Plus they allow me to use Siri if I wish. I would recommend the mini to my friends.

Why isn’t it cordless?

While the sound is great and Siri is super helpful, it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. First of all, it has a cord. I’m not real excited about the cord and it needing to be plugged in. Pictures don’t show the cord nor was it mentioned, so when it arrived I was very disappointed. Feel like Apple could’ve done better here.
