This speaker is remarkable. I was not expecting the sound to be this clear and the volume is amazing. It’s great for entertaining guest. Would have wanted it to be cordless but I guess Apple wanted to save us money on batteries. Besides that this product is excellent. I ah well 1 in the Living Room and plan on buying another for the rest of the rooms.

We have one and love ours. We bought a second for ourselves or our office when it went on sale for $200. If your already an Apple product lover. You’ll love this too. The sound quality is really good. And we connected it to the one we already have for a stereo effect. And the Siri features are just fun to use. Very helpful to send texts via HomePod.

HomePods (especially two/stereo) sound very satisfying. They need rubber stands, o/w rings occur. I already had Apple Music -perfect. SIRI provides all the basic info: iMessage, Calendar, Weather, Phone calls, and general info. I have not used with Apple TV yet. We have them set up in the bedroom. They are rather innocuous. They can even double as a white noise machine/alarm clock. A lot of fun.

I use the Apple operating system on my phones, watch, TV’s, IPads, Music (Apple Music, SiriusXM and Amazon Music) and now my SECOND Apple HomePod!!! This device, coupled, with SIRI speech control and Apple AirPlay, allows information inquiries and/or music access with a simple voice command. Lastly, HomePods are mobile and fit any room. Music is clear and playback totally at the listener’s control!

Got this because we are an apple Eco system here at the house, but it was mainly for the sound/music capabilities. Siri works fine, but we dont really use it for anything other than simple request which has always worked fine with us. I would recommend if you are an apple person or even if you are not and love better sounding music (of course apple account is needed)

I have a 5.1 Sonos home theatre system that I was using to play music when not watching TV and the HomePod rivals the system. The bass is there as is the treble. It does sound better at louder volumes, but at lower volumes Sonos has it beat. It’s better than a Sonos Play 1 and as good as a Sonos Play 5. If you’re concerned about Alexa’s lack of privacy and that it’s always listening, then go with Siri on the HomePod.

Deep bass great sounding smart speaker. The sound is unhindered. Uninterrupted music listening even if you browse a youtube, news video clip, instagram video, or a video message on your phone. Hands free phone call is awesome. It is so clear. I think its way better than what is used in a conference room. Sometimes the music transfer does not work but overall its a great quality speaker for $200! Siri is still limited needs a lot of learning needed. Its way behind Alexa.

After considering buying the HomePod since it’s release earlier this year, I finally splurged and bought it when it went on sale for Black Friday. It was so easy to set up. And all types of music sound great on it! Siri picks up commands easily, although sometimes when I have music on I do have to repeat my request a couple of times before Siri can hear it. Overall, I’m really enjoying this product. Although, I will say I don’t think it’s worth the non sale price and I would definitely wait for it to go on sale again before purchasing one.

I was originally hesitant to buy a HomePod, as I'm not a huge music buff. However, I listened to the quality of the device over and over again at Best Buys and at Apple stores, and was blown away each time. I purchased my first HomePod at CostCo, but then decided I couldn't say no when Best Buy reduced the price $100 on Black Friday. Great sound - small footprint - and in my opinion, worth the money.

This is my second HomePod ... I use it for music and merge them together and connect them to my AppleTV in the master bedroom. Works great most of the time however Apple needs to work on a easier way to keep them connected without always going to the settings in the Apple TV. Super simple to connect as all Apple products are. It was on sale and I should have bought more.

The HomePod experience is second to none. The sound is so immersive and could not be accomplished with any other single speaker out there. Place it anywhere in a room and it adjust the sound accordingly. The added bonus of Siri and the Apple ecosystem integration makes it so much more useful than a regular Bluetooth speaker.

First off, even though it is a little pricier than the competition out there the sound is amazing. Who would have thought that such a small compact unit could deliver that sort of bass. Siri works well for simple tasks, and works amazingly well with HomeKit to set lighting scenes or adjust the thermostat. The mics are sensitive and hear me from a few rooms over or even while the music is playing at a high volume.

People give the Homepod a lot of hate but I think they are missing the point. As a speaker, the Homepod is fantastic, not so much as a smart assistant. The price is on the high side but so are the Sonos but they don't have beamforming. The bass punches and you feel it; the sound is crisp! FYI: I'm what you would classify as an Apple fanboy

Sigh. My spouse and I are still mourning the discontinuation of the larger HomePod. We've snagged as many as we need, since I suspect we won't see its like again. Right away, I want to say something to the HomePod detractors out there: Try living with a few for a while. The sound quality is amazing. Which is why we buy the,. Is Siri a great assistant? No. But, I'll settle for its greater level of privacy over the alternatives. Not to mention we bought them for the sound. My one issue is that there's no way to throttle back the bass. We have two acting as the speakers for our TV, and while the sound is stellar, it's also really bassy, especially at night. Still, they are good for what we wanted them for: whole-house audio with a reasonable ability to run out HomeKit-enabled lights and such. I just wish Apple hadn't gone to just the HomePod Mini, because unlike the Mac mini (which punches way above its weight class), the HomePod Mini doesn't. If you can find one, and you're hooked into Apple's ecosystem, then go for it.
