I've had the big Homepod for a few years now and love it, so comparing the Homepod Mini to it is not really fair but that's my main point of reference. The Mini puts out decent sound but is a litte "tinny" in any larger room and not mind blowing. Works best in a smaller bedroom and benefits from being in a corner to get better bass, and as such I think the main use for the Mini is to add music and Siri to more rooms in your house or as your first entry point into the Apple ecosystem if you already have iPhone/Mac or Homekit devices in your life. Obviously Apple Music is the perfect match for this. Sometimes the larger Homepod goes on sale for $200, and I would rather have that deal than two $99 Homepod minis personally. Finally a little nit-pick, the wall plug for the gray Mini is white (see photo) which is a minor detail, but would awesome if it matched the gray. All in all a nice addition if you're in the Apple eco system.

The Apple HomePod mini is a compact smart speaker that delivers impressive sound for its size. Even though it’s small, it produces clear vocals, balanced audio, and room-filling 360-degree sound that works great for music, podcasts, and everyday listening. Apple’s built-in processing adjusts the sound in real time to keep it crisp and detailed.  One of its biggest strengths is how smoothly it works with Apple devices. With Siri built in, you can control music, send messages, check the weather, and manage smart home devices just by using your voice. It also integrates easily with iPhones and other Apple products through AirPlay and the Home app.  However, there are a few downsides. The speaker doesn’t have very deep bass and can’t get as loud as larger speakers, and Siri still isn’t as advanced as some competing assistants.  Overall: The HomePod mini is an excellent choice for Apple users who want a stylish, affordable smart speaker with surprisingly good sound quality and easy smart-home control.

The Apple HomePod mini in blue has excellent sound for its size, with rich bass and clear vocals. Setup is seamless with Apple devices, and Siri integration works smoothly. The compact design fits anywhere, and the color adds a stylish touch. Great value for a smart speaker.

Color is great and quality is what you would expect from Apple. Its size is great. It is intuitive and Siri actually works great on this device. The network connectivity is actually better than the larger HomePod. Only downside, I wish it were a bit louder than it is but over all is great product.

I have three Apple HomePods which I love. And now I have three “mini” Pods which, for 40% of the cost, compare well to my HomePods - easy setup, good sound and great utility. While the sound is not as “full/rich” as the larger (and more expensive) HomePods, it is very good and because of their smaller size you have more flexibility as to where you put them. I appreciate the ease with which you can pair them and I particularly like the intercom capability. Obviously I recommend them.

I recently switched from Google Home to the HomePod Mini, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. Here’s why: Audio Quality: Despite its compact size, the HomePod Mini delivers rich, clear sound that outperforms my previous Google Home devices. Apple Ecosystem Integration: Seamless integration with my iPhone and iPad makes daily tasks more efficient. Siri’s voice recognition and quick response times are a notable improvement. Homebridge Flexibility: Homebridge allows me to integrate a wide range of peripherals not natively supported by HomeKit. While it requires some technical know-how to set up, the customization it offers is worth it. User Experience: The setup process is straightforward, and the Home app on iOS is user-friendly. Touch controls are responsive and add a nice tactile element. Design: The HomePod Mini’s sleek, minimalist design fits well with any decor, and its fabric mesh exterior enhances its acoustic performance.

Very impressive sound from a small speaker, with a very futuristic design, the color is perfect to go with any decoration or color in your walls, while apple makes some other colors, we choose white with porpoise of bringing it to any room and go along with the decoration, easy to install and very easy to operate, even grandma can play her music or podcast in this one, is just a prefect gift.

Wonderful sound - excellent ease of use. The complete package. I got the second one to complete my stereo effect on the bedroom television. Great size, great volume!

I really like Apple HomePod Minis. This is my second one, and I really wanted orange. I bought this as an open box. It as supposed to be in like new condition, but was missing the power supply. My options were to return it and buy a new one at regular price, buy a $20+ power supply, or keep it. I still got a good price, and used a power supply I had on hand. Anyhow, for what it is, I like the sound and if you have the Apple ecosphere, this dovetails nicely. Great colour as well! Less stars because open box was missing power supply.

What is not to love about this smart speaker? Some audiophiles out there will say that it doesn't have the right sound, or it doesn't fill the room...that's all crazy talk! For the size and price of this speaker, it has wonderful sound that is more than enough to fill the room. You can't compare everything to a system that costs thousands of dollars, but you can enjoy the equipment that you have...and this is a great little speaker. The setup is easy, and Siri can hear you whisper from across the room...which is slightly freaky, but good when you need to control this thing. Pair it with a modern iPhone and you have even more control on your screen. Want to take that music on the road? Just hold that iPhone near the top and instantly the music picks up on your phone...or vise versa. I have small smart speakers from other companies, and this one beats them all. To be fair, it is also more expensive than the others. If you want good sound from Apple Music, Pandora, any other streamer, or just from your local iPhone library, then this is the speaker for you. Want to make a sudo-surround/stereo sound type upgrade for your TV? Get two of these and pair them with the Apple TV to give your TV watching a boost!

HomePod dying and bought October of 2019. That fact speaks for itself. It has begun death farting and shutting down. This HomePod has been rarely used in the 23 months I have owned it. Will be contacting Best Buy and Apple to see if they stand behind their merchandise. By review will be updated if I’m not stuck with a $323.99 paperweight.

We needed to replace three HomePods so I got 3 more minis. They are so small and have excellent sound! We use ours for surround sound and they do an amazing job!

Paired with another Homepod to create a great sounding audio setup. The fact that its compatible with AppleTV and any Bluetooth device in general just makes it that much easier to use in all sorts of situations. If you are going to get one, I would suggest you get another!

Bought for the parents to act as a homekit hub since their smart door lock was Bluetooth and couldn't reach the iPad. Works perfect as a hub since it connects to bluetooth and wifi. Nice sound quality, heavy for size, easy to use Siri, so much so, I will buy more to put in other rooms and basement in case one of them has issues (elderly) and can use Siri to call for help. Don't need life alert now. I plan on buying one for me as well to put in bedroom and connect to iPad since I watch youtube before nodding off and have a hard time hearing the tablet speakers. I had a hard time getting the homekit to setup but that was because I had an iPad already acting as a smart hub and needed to turn that off in one settings area and then needed to add the homePod hub to my current named homekit i was using which I had to click that small home icon in upper left corner. This was my first time doing all that and didn't know where the settings were. Thank goodness for the internet and those that take time to create videos and webpages. All has been perfect since install

I haven't been a fan of these small speakers in the past. I'm an IT professional and have read a lot of reports how the Alexa devices were being hacked, and very intrusive.I even had an Alexa device connect to my phone because I connected to my niece's wifi, and it turned on my bluetooth and sent me messages. Not cool. But, I looked into the Apple devices and there've been very few issues like those. I love high definition audio and will never give up my stereo equipment. But, I got a Homepod Mini for my mom and really liked that it's not just for connecting an apple phone and playing music. This is my third Homepod mini for my own home. I was very excited to see my Apple TV connect to my other HPM, so I got this one to have stereo sound, and I totally love it. Far better than the TV speakers. I don't like iphones, but love other Apple devices. I use this one (along with it's partner) for Apple TV, Apple Music, connecting Prime Music, setting alarms/timers, asking questions. I'm thinking of getting one for each room so I can use them as an intercom system.

It's a good speaker, it has a great sound and a high volume in small so it fits anywhere, although I would like it to answer the questions better
