Christmas gift for my son..only thing is we thought it was a regular Bluetooth speaker but only works for Apple Music and calls

We recently moved into a new home and decided to add some “smart home” features. We researched a number of smart home hubs and landed on the Apple HomePod. First, as a speaker, it has amazing full sound and has flexibility in sound set up using the equalizer native in the Apple settings menu of our phones. Functioning as a hub, it’s very easy to configure and is comparable with a large number of accessories.

This took a little bit to connect, but once we did, the sound is amazing and quality is fantastic! It produces a lot of sound for a little speaker.

This is so fun and the sound quality is amazing my husband and I got it for Christmas and we enjoy using it for our smart home

This was a birthday gift for a friend and when they got it almost brought them to tears, and still they can not stop talking about, its amazing how such an inexpensive item can bring so Much Joy to someone.

I like them for what they are. Nice sound (not as good as the original homepod) but they are smaller and cheaper.

If you were part of the Apple ecosystem, it would be a great addition to your system. One of my favorite features is the intercom system; the more you add, the better it gets.

Although pricier than almost all other smart speakers this has by far the best sounding audio. If you have apple products and really care about sound quality I highly recommend this

Plus: - The sound from the speakers are good - it's easy to send stuff from other apple devices - it deals well with simple commands/queries (weather, time, etc.) Cons: - Siri is a lot more limited on this than on the phone. - HomePod's Siri interferes with iPhone Siri when both are on. Sometimes I'll ask my phone something and the HomePod will answer and say it can't do that. - It works better if you have apple music, and takes an extra step to use if you want to beam spotify from your phone... but it's just an extra step.

Love this for Siri. I live in a small loft style apartment and sound travels great all over the apartment!

Its amazing and blows your mind with how clear and powerful this small speaker is.

Large sound for such a small device. If the mini sounds so great, I wonder what the larger one sounds like? May have to order one for another room.

Well designed, simple and clean look. The sounds is not that bad, but again, its small and perfect to put on a night stand.

Just as good as the original but takes up less space. Produces good quality sound and there are millions of song choices available through Apple Music. Highly recommend for office and small space.

Very easy to use and set up. This is worth the third of the price it is compared to Apple Home Pod 2nd Generation.

Another win for Apple! Great for the kids rooms. Great size for kiddos room and works perfectly.
