Great device, with some future updates to third party accessories it should work even better. But for now it does the trick

Gift for daughter but if she likes it she plans to buy several more for her house.

I was excited about this purchase and was satisfied initially when I heard the sound quality. It has a very easy setup and hears your voice quite well. However, Siri seems even more limited as to what she can do on HomePod than she is on my iPhone. Also, if you want to connect anything but an Apple device with the supposed bluetooth 5.0 it has, think again. You can't. Only Apple products can be connected to it through Airplay. I wanted to use it as a home theatre system but couldn't. it will connect to my Apple TV but it won't stay connected and is ridiculously difficult to figure out how to connect in the first place. Once it loses the connection you worked so hard to get, it is even harder to figure out how to reconnect. VERY FRUSTRATING! I returned the HomePod after a week. Maybe with the next generation these issues will be addressed. Until then, HomePod is not for me.

The device works well right out of the box and easy to link to your other devices.

I love having a HomePod in my kitchen. Works great and sounds pretty darn good.

Point your iphone at it and play your song. Great sound for a small little thing.

This speaker puts out great sound and was super easy to set up because we have other apple products. The only issue we have is with it disconnecting from the Apple TV. Sometimes it does it on it's own but if we talk to Siri on the HomePod, we always have to reconnect to the Apple TV every time. Since we mainly use this as a speaker for our TV, that's pretty annoying. Overall, though, we really like it.

One thing I like about the HoePod or the Amazon Echo is that Apple has added humidity sensors. This is important to me because my house is very old and was built on granite stones, so it can get very humid.

I’ll start by saying the sound quality is amazing. I love the seamless connectivity between the iPhone, iPad and the HomePod. I like the option of being able to play my music over multiple devices. I’ve tried setting up 3 HomePods throughout one room and let me say it really does sound great. I’ve placed one in different rooms and love being able to get things done without having to stop, play and pause with different devices or blasting music from one room to listen throughout the house. It’s unfortunate that HomePod doesn’t support the ring doorbell. But it’s safe to say I’ve dropped all of my Alexa echo devices and have happily transitioned to the HomePod. I’m looking forward to the HomePod mini for the kid’s rooms and guest room. Although I can’t play directly from 3rd party apps directly, yet, it’s still a great device and I’ve recommended it to my friends. It’s a bit bulky but well worth it!

So far I am really liking this and using it to replace Alexa. The only reason for the good vs excellent rating is that the speaker sometimes will just lose it’s connection or so and music will stop playing. I’ve heard it has less features or Siri is not as good but it does what I need. Tells me the time, weather, let’s me set timers and stream music or video audio to it. Overall though for the price the sound quality is great and on par if not better than the Amazon Echo we had before.

Love this little speaker/assistant. I mostly use it in the morning and at night in my bedroom. I can ask what the temperature is and what’s on my calendar for today. And I listen to music at night while I sleep. Has so many other features, like it can recognize everyone in the household’s voice and respond to them like it’s their own personal Siri.

I bought the HomePod to try it out and I was literally shocked by how great it sounded. It fills the room with high quality sound and works seamlessly with all my Apple products. The design is very compact and in my opinion better looking and less bulky than other speakers out there. I would recommend!!
