Awesome sounding speaker that will only get better. This is my second HomePod... and I’m very happy with my decision to get a second. When in stereo mode they sound amazing. The sound is clear and the bass is spot on. One HomePod is great, but two in stereo mode is perfect. If you’re a music lover with high fidelity... try it out!

If you buy it to use as a good sounding speaker you will be very happy. Siri is Siri, but she hears you incredibly well even over music. Pair a second one with it for stereo sound and it is incredible. My only gripe is that I ordered Space Gray and received White. It worked out so I'm not going to cause a stink about it.

Purchased two HomePods , easy setup and fantastic sound. Siri is not as intuitive as Alexa but it really not a deal breaker. My wife like to use it at night with ambient sounds as she goes to sleep. Easy to setup morning wake up times ,

Works as it should. Wonderful sound and easy setup. I was literally sleeping on this product. I plan on getting another one for my living room and wait for the news ones this year since they will be smaller I can place one on my bathroom and kitchen. If you love Apple Music this is a must.

Incredible design and amazing sound quality. My only gripe is wish that this speaker could be cordless. Instead of the need for a direct power supply, it would be nice if there was a charging doc. I like to situation the speaker on my bar and the cord is unsightly.

Setup couldn't be easier. Just hold the iPhone with the Apple ID you want to use for your HomePod and the software does the rest. You'll be ready to go in minutes. I bought it as the second HomePod in a stereo pair. The sound is fantastic. I couldn't be happier.

If you’re invested in the Apple ecosystem, this is the speaker to get. Not only will it be your hub for home automation, but the speaker sounds great with ample bass and volume. You probably won’t have the volume level above 50% in a bedroom. It’s worth the purchase if you’re a heavy music or podcast listener.

The Apple HomePod is really a product for those of us who are fully immersed in the Apple ecosystem. It is the best smart speaker if you use voice command with Siri to control your smart home devices and if you are an Apple Music user. Comparing to a single Sonos One and a Jawbone Big Jambox, the HomePod sounds the best with crisp high and deep, punchy base. It also gets quite loud without distortion. One HomePod speaker can easily fill a medium size living room. The omnidirectional arrangement of the speakers and the algorithm ensures that the sound are consistent at any location in your room. Now, if you are just looking for a good wireless speaker then it gets a little more tricky to recommend the HomePod. For $50 more, you can get two Sonos Ones in stereo pair which will give an additional dimension to your music. Now with AirPlay 2 support, the Sonos Ones pair will work seamlessly with any of your Apple products, too. The Sonos also support Amazon Alexa and Spottify, which the HomePod does not. In the end, if you want seamless integration with Apple Music and Siri then the HomePod is for you. However, if you are just looking for good wireless speakers then two Sonos Ones for $50 more would be a better buy.

Great for an all apple household as we are. Integrates seamlessly, looks classy, and sounds incredible for its size (and I'll admit to being an audio snob...). We don't use lots of smart home features so I can't comment on that at this point. We'll see what the future holds...

Great sound quality! It’s nice to leave around the house. I wasn’t a believer in Apple’s audio speaker until I heard it. With recent updates it remains paired to my Apple TV so I don’t have to do anything to start watching. I wish handoff worked for other music apps too. The sound is quite loud about the same as a Sonos one. This one is more bassy than a Sonos one.

I was shocked by the amount of sound that I got out of this homepod. even though it's loud in one room, in other rooms it's not as loud. which is a good thing, because I hate turning the music down if I'm working in one room. good to know I won't bother the ppl in the other room

Good sound, Good privacy. While Alexa and google listen to you all the time Apple does not. The HomePod has good speakers and 7 microphones so it can hear you quite a distance from the device. it is very easy to set up. You can network them or use them separately. They work great!!

We really like our HomePods! Great sound, integrates well with your Apple products and set up is so simple it’s crazy. We use two of ours as paired sound with Apple TV and sound amazing when watching Netflix etc. just select them in the audio menu on your Apple TV. I recommend getting a pair of these.

The HomePod generates such excellent sound. You would think that it’s coming from a much larger device. The microphones work perfectly to hear Siri commands and it’s so intuitive to use. The automatic adjustment of sound based on room placement is a great feature as well. Buy this over any Amazon or Google trash.

I got two HomePods to place on both sides of the end and I was astonished by the sound quality and bass from these little speakers. Overall worth the price! Siri isn’t that intelligent as Alexa but she gets the job done, assistant wise. As for audio the HomePod beats all other virtual assistant speakers I’ve owned.

Happy with Apple HomePod. We use it in our Smarthome with verbal commands to control many of our lights. The speakers have pretty good sound for being such a small unit. Setup was very easy since all our products in our home are "Apple" it was a breeze!

We purchased the HomePod based on professional reviews that it was one of, if not the best sounding of similar devices. Being an Apple centric home also helped. It does sound great, better than our previous Alexa based unit. We do not use such a device to run our home so the fact that the HomePod is more limited with regard to the amount of devices with which it will connect did not bother us. In the future, we will simply make sure we purchase devices that do work with HomePod. Although I'm sure we do not ask it as many diverse questions as other families, it answers our questions in a meaningful way and we can set multiple different named timers which comes in handy as we cook a lot and it is between our kitchen and family room. It easily picks up your voice too. So far, we would definitely buy it again. Getting it for $199 was also a nice bonus. Like most Apple products, setting it up and connecting it to our iPhones was incredibly easy.

Using this system of mics, distance & sound calibration (etc. etc. etc.) I’m not sure what to say bad/or cons. Well, the price is certainly not as that of the black puck things nobody seems to use.I can be downstairs, and say “Hey Siri, tell me a joke” or something like “Who is Doctor Strange” as I did not know- thought the movie looked cool. I ask, and get about 20 seconds read about said topics, AND verbalized to me in a voice which I notice intonations, inflection, and pause where necessary. Hey Siri will you marry me? “Let’s just be friends, ok?” Fine Siri, play my favorite songs. -mine, as it does know my voice from others, thus “my songs” are specific to me. Perhaps it comes down to this; if you want to plug in a device and use it, almost out of the box & it just works looks cool, sounds amazing, which is a nice quality for a speaker, get yourself down to the Best Buy n’ get yourself one. :) Not much if anything it cannot do when used with the correct HomeKit plug or whatever .

The product works beautifully. The sound is really surprising. I also enjoy arguing with Siri. The One draw back is that it requires an I-pod, I-phone, or I-tablet to set up - and cannot be set up with any other apple device, or if this is your only apple device. I had to borrow a friend's I-phone to set up the device and have some of my functionality limited as a result, but I bought it to play music and keep timers - so, it works enough for me. I am sad that it does not work with the other things apple makes or as a stand alone apple product. I don't like the I-phone, I-tablet, and have no use of an I-pod... so the fact that they chose those to be paired with it, seems odd to me. And I actually DO own a MacBook that I use for work and drafting articles. Sadly, Apple missed the concept on fore-thought with this item. The only hard part about setting up this thing was finding someone with an I-device I could use.

So I was Skeptical about buying this over all the other smart homes because mainly of price but the sound quality alone was worth the price. Knowing that the other products from Amazon and Google that listen to your conversations was a no go for me so I wanted something else and the only other option was Apple, in which I do own a Apple phone so in my opinion it was a no brainer. After the couple hiccups I ran into not knowing that the phone and speaker needed to be on the same network, I was able to enjoy it at its full potential. Having Apple Music and Apple TV, I notice i was able to use any Apple product I wanted to connect to the speaker via airplay. So not only can I use it for Apple Music but if I’m watching tv, movie etc I can use it as a sound bar which is so cool I give this product a 10/10 for sound 6/10 for being a smart device when coming down to knowledge and a 10/10 for the other known features.
