I love my new Apple HomePod! It sounds great, works great with my Apple TV 4K! Sounds like a surround sound system when watching tv with it! Also great for playing music or really anything you want to listen too! Great product, as are all Apple products!

Know what you get and don't get with the HomePod

First off, understand that the HomePod acts as its own device and not really an extension of your iPhone. You can airplay to the HomePod from your phone but the HomePod will take over the source leaving your phone open to play it's own music. You can control the HomePod from your phone but you have to specifically select the HomePod in the Music app to do so, by default the Phone will show what it is playing on the phone and not the HomePod. Is this a problem, not really but it does take some getting used to. The HomePod will sync to your AppleID so you can access your calendar etc BUT it has its own app for alarms and does not sync to you phone alarms. Viewing the set alarms on your phone is stupid, yes stupid as you have to open the Home App and then open the HomePod. I get the sense that Apple is trying to force you to use Siri to control the HomePod. If this is your thing then you won't have any issues. I had to adapt to using Siri for everything. Also Siri is no Alexa so don't expect it to act like Alexa. Siri is simply not that smart and can't handle commands or actions like Alexa. If you know Siri's limitation's you won't be disappointed. The sound is amazing! Really more than what I expected. My final verdict- I'm going to get another one when Best Buy drops the price back to 199.

This makes 3 homepods in my home. I enjoy them as they have great sound and they do what I want from a smart speaker. I know Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa are generally seen and more capable, but I have fewer issues with HomePod. It seems to detect what I’m saying better and is primarily used for music control and smart home control. It works great for these tasks.

I recently purchased the HomePod and I love it! The sound quality is great and because of it's circular design, I have equally distributed sound/music throughout my kitchen, dining room, and living room. Looking forward to adding smart home features in order to make Siri the central brains of my home!

I waited to buy this HomePod because I just wasn’t sure even tho I’m a total Apple junkie!!!! I got it 100$ off and the sound quality is awesome. Very easy to set up. Glad I bought it! Doesn’t do as much as amazon echo, but I’m sure in time it will be very competitive, with sound quality way superior.

Had the Homepod for a while now and it was definitely worth it. Sounds awesome and with the new update, you can now connect multiple Homepods together for a better experience. I would definitely recommend this and may purchase another one in the future.

I was holding out for good reviews and decided to pull the trigger. Easy setup and use as a hub through the home app. Perfect for a home automation hub if you have an iPhone. The sound quality is a selling point in its own. You can whisper “hey Siri” under the music and it will hear you...magic

So I bought this to pair with my first HomePod I have. I occasionally use it to listen to music, but mainly use it hooked up to my tv because frankly the tv speakers are weak to say the least. These work great as a stereo pair and really up the bass and suspense in various shows that the tv speakers could never do. It is a little pricey, yes, but imo it is worth it.

I love the Apple HomePod. This is my 3rd one. I’ve got them in living room, game room, and now master bedroom. Super easy to setup using your iPhone. You do need to pair it with an Apple Music subscription to get the most out of Siri. Super clean, only a single power cord, and it sounds awesome.

I am very impressed with the sound that it produces. The Bass is deep and rich enough to bump your favorite club tunes. The Treble is crisp and sharp but not too ear-piercing sharp. Being used in the home office and links up seamlessly to HomeKit as a bridge.

Easy set up with any iOS device. Pair seemlessly and sounds excellent. Siri is good at finding music. Besides Apple Music, you can AirPlay any other channel like Spotify or Pandora, not a big deal. Since they must be plugged in, they’re not truly portable. That said, they fit unobtrusively into most any room.

This speaker gives premium sound. Is great for playing all your favorite tunes. And is very easy to work with. Siri is amazing. And I love pairing with other speakers for studio sound. I gave 4 stars because it doesn’t have Bluetooth capability. So you can’t’ use it without an internet connection, and it only works with Apple devices.

Apple makes a great product and I am part of the ecosystem. I was comparing this to a sonos one and ended up going with the Sonos because the sound quality was superior. I bought this to use in my home office mainly for music. I’m not a fan of Siri and I use Spotify for music, so this was strictly about sound quality and ease of use for me. The HomePod sounds great and is well designed, but it is still overpriced and didn’t sound as good as I thought it would (not that it sounded bad). This would be a great value at $200, but not at 300 and def not 350 where it started at. As a Spotify user, I also noticed how much of a difference the sound quality is when streaming it natively as opposed to using airplay and that was another point for Sonos. This may be a good device for HomeKit users, but I didn’t need a smart speaker (already on Google’s eco) and not an Apple Music subscriber, so this didn’t fit my use case. I’m glad I tried it out for myself though.

The HomePod is easy to set up and use. It provides great music. With 2 HomePods you can get great stereo or put them in separate rooms. Using the HomePod you can speak commands to send messages. make phone calls and answer questions on about any subject.

This is my 4th HomePod and distributing them around my house make for an amazing music experience. Every room is filled with sound. The bass and clarity are amazing. Are they a little pricey? Yes, but the recent price drop (and Best Buy sale prices) help make the purchase more palatable.

Truly amazing sound from such a small package. When you open them you'll feel how nice they are. I ended up returning for Sonos One because I wanted a true home theater integration with a sound bar. Hopefully, Apple will add that to their lineup.

Purchased this for my wife for an xmas gift. Sound quality is superb. She mostly streams radio and music from her MacBook and setup is extremely easy. fits in well with the apple ecosystem. This replaced a small Bose BT speaker and the sound quality is worth the extra money for an Apple product

I really like the HomePod it is a part of my family and every day useI am a Apple fan and I have tried other speakers but nothing sounds like this one all works like this one I gave it a four-star because I think Apple has overprice it but I did get a good deal and a good sale price at the open box at Best Buy.

Actually have 9 of these all but one set paired. They sound much better paired. We have a whole house system with speakers built in in most rooms in our house, but we decided to just start getting these because it is much simpler just to tell Siri to play music or To play music everywhere and then it plays on all 9. This is set up on our HomeKit with automation so at night or when sensors are walked by we have different music on or rain sounds to get to sleep. Super easy to set up you can just place your iPhone over the top and can transfer music that way later after the HomePod is set up. We use these as speaker phones also telling Siri to answer the phone. Full rich sound even with just one.
