I’m very happy to finally be able to get the HomePod functionality in the compact size

Wasn't sure how the sound would be, but I've been pleasantly surprised!

This little thing sounds really good and jam to music all the time in my kitchen.

After the Apple update, needed a new device to setup Apple HomeKit. This device fits the bill and works like a charm. I have had all of the different voice assistants (Echo devices, google home) and if your an iphone user the homepod is a better choice for voice assistants.

Works great for what I bought it for and plan on buying a couple more

We purchased the HomePod based on professional reviews that it was one of, if not the best sounding of similar devices. Being an Apple centric home also helped. It does sound great, better than our previous Alexa based unit. We do not use such a device to run our home so the fact that the HomePod is more limited with regard to the amount of devices with which it will connect did not bother us. In the future, we will simply make sure we purchase devices that do work with HomePod. Although I'm sure we do not ask it as many diverse questions as other families, it answers our questions in a meaningful way and we can set multiple different named timers which comes in handy as we cook a lot and it is between our kitchen and family room. It easily picks up your voice too. So far, we would definitely buy it again. Getting it for $199 was also a nice bonus. Like most Apple products, setting it up and connecting it to our iPhones was incredibly easy.

Very happy with it and vey useful. Small but sounds good. Having fun playing with it.

If you considering this speaker, you've probably already read reviews or watched reviews on YouTube. The speaker sounds great! There are smart features there, but not nearly as much functionality as the competition. These features will come with software updates, just like Google Home which launched with a lackluster skill set. Fortunately for me, I'm not that concerned with asking Siri a bunch of questions...although making a call or adding items to my calendar are head-scratchingly missing. (Yes I made up a word!) If you are in the Apple ecosystem, this speaker will be a great addition. Some might want to wait for software updates to add more functionality, but why wait...it's not going on sale (this is Apple).

Purchase this as a smart speaker for the office and it delivers! It works as a hub for my HomeKit accessories, easy to make calls from and works as a Bluetooth speaker for my computer. Oh, and Siri is okay

So I bought this to pair with my first HomePod I have. I occasionally use it to listen to music, but mainly use it hooked up to my tv because frankly the tv speakers are weak to say the least. These work great as a stereo pair and really up the bass and suspense in various shows that the tv speakers could never do. It is a little pricey, yes, but imo it is worth it.

Phenomenal audio especially when considering its size. Very much worth the price.
