It connects to all my Apple products quick and easy and it sounds amazing in my office, for the size and Black Friday price of $100 off, making it $249. Now I need another one to get wireless stereo going... haha

Although it failed me within the first two weeks of purchase. I made an appointment at the Apple Store and they replaced the unit. Replaced unit has had no problems at all. Works great, sounds great and easy to use.

This speaker is fantastic sounding. The problem is its features aren't that great. For example you cannot use this speaker as a Bluetooth Source which means your limited to Apple Music. I think it would be great if you could pair these devices to a non-apple device OR even pair the speaker in Bluetooth mode to your iPhone/iPad/iMac and play through them vs using Apple Music etc.. As for build quality and performance as always its worth every cent. Everyone always bashes Apple and say its overpriced but you get what you pay for and any Apple product I've had is better than the opposition in almost every way possible, every time..

As a professional musician who uses high-end reference monitors in my studios, I have the best of the best to compare the sound quality of Apple's HomePods, and by that measure, I have to say these are outstanding. I have 4 of them (in two homes/studios). Like most composers, it's important to me to hear my music on every conceivable device it might be heard on as far down as a cheap car cassette player (really old-school). In that wide spectrum of devices, the HomePods come directly after the reference monitors!

This speaker was easy to set up, has great sound and pairs well with my Apple TV 4K. I’m able to move it around the house if needed with no further setup. Looks good too.

HomePod has an awesome sound, on mid volume, for its size. I have a Pair as my bookshelf speakers connected over AirPlay to my AppleTV 4. Awesome to watch TV and listen to music. Siri needs to become smarter.

HomePod speakers are a little different than your typical wireless speakers. They use WiFi, not Bluetooth for transmitting sound. While WiFi has the bandwidth needed to transmit all of the music, I wish that using Bluetooth was an option. I bought a pair of HomePods as I wanted full stereo sound. In this case, two HomePods are at least three times better than a single one. In my opinion, I've never heard speakers of this size that have such deep, full bass. The problem is Apple's software support for HomePods with AirPlay. They work well with iTunes and independently using Siri, but no other Mac software supports HomePod as a stereo pair. That means that no Safari-based music can use them. When Apple updates Mac OS to work with stereo HomePods, I would probably give the product five stars.

This is not the smartest but the best sounding smart speaker out there I’ve tried Alexa, google, and none of them can beat this thing on quality sound. Google home max gets louder but does not sound better

I got this on sale for $199 and love it. The sound fills the room and the base is pretty powerful. I’m excited to get another one and to be able to pair it with my Sonos system

I was seriously surprised how great the sound quality is from the HomePod! Picking this up we thought we would try it and maybe return it if it doesn't work too well. We thought there was no way it's going to stand its ground against our favorite wireless Bose HomeLink speakers but you know what... it really des! We tested it with all kinds of music, the base is deep and satisfying, mid range is good and high range is perfect. No noticeable distortion. What an amazing speaker... not to mention Siri and all the goodies that come with it, of course!

I am blown away by the sound quality on this. Comparing it to the Sonos Play:5's I have set up in a stereo pair and still use daily (they have inputs for Turntables). I have about 5 of these now because my home runs on Apple HomeKit and they all work very well and deliver great sounding music at a much lower cost than Sonos (if you can live without the analog inputs that the HomePod does not have but the Play:5 has). Buying another one today to create a stereo pair in my home office with all the WFH due to Covid-19.

So I was very excited to be one of the first to get the new Homepod as I love most Apple products. The sound blew my mind right in the store! So I got home and set up was pretty easy however that's when I discovered the HomePod's big flaw! It doesn't connect to your phone or ipad via bluetooth like most speakers. It operates under the premise that you have Apple Music (which I do) however it will play songs based on what you tell Siri to play. Most times you're scrolling through your music on your phone and you press a song to hear it. The Home Pod only let's you play pre made playlists that you create or you tell it to play a specific song. I was surprised how much of a pain that was. Luckily rumor is that Apple is working to fix that otherwise I'd have returned it even though it sounds great! Get on that, Apple!

Really great sounding speakers. Even better connected to the Apple TV. Siri is a great music DJ/assistant but no so great for other purposes. The speakers are well integrated into the Apple eco system. Shame they don’t work with Android or MS. Sound quality is top notch. Warm sounding. Bass heavy with no way to reduce the bass is a negative though for some people. Mids and highs also good. I had a couple of mine however fail under a year and were replaced. Stereo paired they sound even better. Can also be used to watch movies with the Apple TV.

Best home speaker on the market. Sounds are WELL balanced and clear. The bass is very solid and has no sound distortion at all. I was satisfied enough that I bought another one.

Who knew that Apple would discontinue this beast of a speaker, but I’m glad I got it beforehand because this thing rips sound out like you wouldn’t believe and the quality is too notch. You can hear subtle sounds that you wouldn’t hear on a lower quality speaker and the max volume is very loud without losing much quality. Siri is a little finnicky and gets on my nerves sometimes. Using airplay can also be finnicky when your phone loses track of what the HomePod is playing. Other than some minor annoyances, this thing is a wonder of technology and sound. Get it before it’s gone forever!

Awesome sound levels, especially the bass lows. Siri is a very useful tool as well as the three months of Apple Music for free as a nice perk. Pairs well with other apple devices, would hiighly recommend.

The sound quality is amazing given its size. The bass is something typical of a larger speaker. I like how I can set it in stereo mode with another homepod.
