This thing is so good I had to get a second one to make a stereo pair. Just one fills a room very well. A second and set up as a stereo pair is overkill but very satisfying. These things sound amazing. As a final touch on your Apple ecosystem it is something you didn’t know you needed. Hand off from phone to HomePod or the other way around is flawless and such a cool way to keep your playlist listening uninterrupted. Plus all the voice control via Siri for your smart home. These are a cool add for any Apple aficionado and if you can get them for $100 off at Best Buy as I did they are a great value.

I bought this for my home office and absolutely love it! It makes calls and answers them as well! Although Siri could give way more info then she currently does it still works for its intended use, a speaker! And it would be great to always have it priced at $199, that’s what attracted me to buying it as well! Even at a low volume the sound seems to give that bass you feel as when it’s on full blast! And Siri now responds to all devices when the HomePod is close by, its so cool!

got this as a gift for my boyfriend. he loves it and the quality and volume of the speaker is great! it is a lot bigger than i expected, but it’s not too big.

Wonderful sound and soooooo easy to set up. I think that I have a crush on Siri. It does lack and aux input, so bought a Bose speaker for my study where I play old CDs.

I bought this for my Fiancé for Christmas. She really likes the way mine fills the room with sound and the Bass from this little speaker is amazing. It would be better if Siri could do more.

The sound is extraordinary, the bass is immaculate, the words are crisp, what more can I say except: Apple, you did it again!

I've been using this for 2 months now and I love it. We had a couple Google Home's before the HomePod and Google Assistant was definitely more capable than Siri, but for my use case, Siri works great. I can quickly play music, podcasts and get basic info. I like that I can AirPlay from my Mac or iPhone as well. Sound quality is excellent. I have a pair of Sonos One SL speakers and the HomePod is slightly better. It sounds great and keeps getting better. Highly recommended.

Awesome sound quality for the price! Only issue is that outside of speaking directly to Siri or touching the touchscreen on the top of the HomePod, the song / playlist selection, and pause / play / track skipping using your iPhone is absolutely NOT intuitive. If you start playing music on your iPhone using the Music app and bring your iPhone close to the HomePod, the music resumes playing on the HomePod like magic. You then go to the music app to pause audio or adjust volume or change song and NOPE... you have to go into the Home app to do that. Totally makes sense Apple... NOT.

I have a smart home which means I use Siri constantly. The HomePod is so great at hearing my requests even when I'm in another room (sometimes a little too good) so using it to control my lights, thermostat etc, is super easy. It sounds top notch, lots of bass and mids for such a small speaker. Sounds much better than Alexa and Google home (both of which I have also tried. For the price it sounds amazing and I would compare it to my $699 "dumb" speaker from Bang and Olufsen.

I know I’m a little late to the party, but I just picked up the HomePod. I love it! Great sound and easy to set up. If you love music, I highly recommend it!

This was purchased as a gift for my spouse and it's been quite the hit in our home. The sound is coming from it is incredible and it was fairly easy to set up. Once you get used to Siri, all's good.

As far as digital assistants go, Siri often gets dogged compared to Google and Amazon. Part of Siri’s limitation though, is Apple protecting your privacy a bit better than the other players. I can say that Siri is the only one smart enough to know what room it is in. You say “turn off the lights,” and it knows enough to turn off the room lights it is assigned to. As a speaker, none of the other devices are even close. HomePod fills a large room and actually sounds good.

I thought this would be a good addition to the house but it turned out to be an amazing addition. IT is easy to control my Apple TV with this and the sound while playing music is amazing

My second HomePod makes it nice to hear music throughout my house. I can switch between stereo or the mono from both HomePods. Seri is available throughout my house, as well. I just wish Seri was more useful! That’s why 4 stars and not five.

This Apple speaker sounds great, it has nice sound detail in all frequencies, bass sounds deep, I can wait for the Stereo pairing to be released.

Terrific sound quality and easy to use and setup up. If you are in the Apple ecosystem and your main goal is sound quality, I would highly recommend this. Siri is a mixed bag. RIDICULOUS microphone sensitivity with beam forming that can pick up your commands speaking at normal volumes in noisy environment and at a near whisper at distance in a quiet room. Siri on HomePod though is a not nearly as capable as on your phone which is disappointing. Is good for HomeKit control though.

This is a very underrated, and one of my most favorite products from Apple. I waited so long to buy it, and ended up buying two! Amazing sound, and especially for the price you're getting much more value. Siri is a bit behind buy really after a year she does all what I need very, very well. It just works, it fits with the decor of the house, I control everything with it, listen to music daily and watch movies via Apple TV using it in stereo in outstanding (Dolby Atmos too). I highly suggest it and hope Apple makes a gen 2 soon!

I wanted to add this a long time ago. Then after a few months. I went ahead and purchased my system. It’s been a great investment and you will love the clear sounds and it really do get loud.
