We purchased this to replace our Google Home. The sound quality of this is really worth every penny, it is probably more appropriate to compare to Sonos/Bose rather than Google/Amazon products. While Siri doesn't support as many devices, the better privacy policies make me more comfortable using the smart functionality.

We are very happy with the purchase of the Apple HomePod Mini, it was exactly what we were looking for.

Works well with all of my other Apple products. HomeKit could use a little work but it’s a great product

Bought the Mini as a gift for my son who is very pleased with it. Says it is the best gift I’ve given him.

This has very nice sound in a small room first off, we use it to control the music, lights, it’s our alarm clock, timer, it reminds us of appointments, tells us the weather, what’s at the movies, how to make Beef Wellington etc. it pretty much does it all

My friend needed a way to turn off his lights. He loves to.

The sound the HomePod creates is AMAZING. Hence, why I'd love to get a second one and see the magic that creates. It definitely matters where you place the HomePod and you need to make sure it's not surrounded by a bunch of stuff. I'm an Apple Fan, a Siri Fan and I'm building my little Smart House; so it's a great addition for me.

Hands-down best audio quality ever. I have used multiple devices from Bose, Sonos and other manufacturers however Apple HomePod takes the cake. And if you’re lucky enough to buy/have two of these then your life is all set in stereo surround 360.

I love my HomePods! I have two of these stereo paired together and they just go above and beyond on sound quality! If you aren’t focused on sound quality though you may be better off getting a HomePod mini or something with Alexa or Google if you don’t care about being in the apple ecosystem.

I reallllllly wanted to love the HomePod mini.. but it’s more expensive than the Echo Dot and will have you aggravated more often than not.. I mainly used the echo dot for shopping lists and as an intercom.. the HomePod mini or Siri often says things like “hmm im having trouble who are you” “who’s speaking” “I can’t connect right now” or “ I can’t find a shopping list” it’s beyond frustrating you basically have to unplug it and replug it back in and that may not fix it .. having it play “rain sounds” at night isn’t as good as Alexa either as it’s not a true continuous loop but maybe 30 minutes of a sound that very obviously starts replaying a loop than just a seemless night of rain noise …and saying hey siri instead of just Alexa will take time to get use to lol
