Love this speaker! Very easy to use, great sound and Siri literally comprehends everything you say to her. Will be buying one for each bathroom soon. You will definitely be satisfied if purchasing one.

It looks tiny but has power and a surprisingly clear sound and comes with lots of capabilities. Siri may be commanded from afar and you may ask a variety of questions as well. One does not seem enough for stereo voice. Be careful: it only works with Apple devices.

Fantastic little speaker. It integrates very well with the other apple products in my house. The sound quality is very impressive for such a small device. The setup was super easy.

I love it. So easy to use just talk to suri and can play anything from a genre or a playlist or just place your phone over the light it immediately connects. Only negative would be its not wireless.

Having Siri available without having to use my iPhone is wonderful, and music sounds great too with just enough bass to keep you going!

The sound quality is great and great at running automations

Sounds even better with two. I bought this Home Pod Mini to pair with an existing one. The setup was very easy, and it made the sound fuller.

Great sound, works perfect with other Apple products. I will probably grab another few for the intercom features. Amazing little speaker that doesn't take up much space at all.

A little on the pricey side but good quality. Good sound from a small form factor. One gripe: there seems to be a glitch with the firmware. Siri will periodically come on and state it’s looking for an item.

Bought two of them, at 199 and 185(open box). Sound good individually, great in stereo. Really solid bass for a small unit, won’t go incredibly loud, but plenty for most uses. Siri works pretty well, much better if you have Apple Music. One undersold feature is that because of the Omni characteristics and dsp, music doesn’t sound boxy(you can’t tell where it is coming from, just nicely distributed, kind of like some Linkwitz lxminis that I made some time ago)-really outstanding with orchestral music.

The Apple HomePod mini has impressive sound, especially considering how small it is. I’ll eventually get another one and pair them to my Apple TV for stereo sound.

I love this little HomePod. I originally bought it to place it in the bathroom so that I may listen to music when taking showers, but I loved it so much that I bought two more: One for the bedroom, and for the kitchen. Now, I have three little pods which I can play music from at the same time. I have one in yellow, blue and orange. They're so adorable. The power from this little device is almost unbelievable for the price. You will not regret getting it, believe me!

Easy to set up. Great sound despite the size. Wish it was a cordless or cord-negative design. Intercom feature is nice although not utilized too much. Just purchased a second unit for surround sound

The HomePod is an amazing piece of tech. The A8 chip allows for it to equalize the audio according to the space that it is in allowing a more linear frequency response. The resulting sound is rich and clear regardless of the volume. Initial setup was a breeze thanks to the ease of the Apple ecosystem with my iPhone being in close proximity to the HomePod and then automatically configuring everything. The Hey Siri detection is quite good with it being able to pick up your voice command from across an average sized room even despite the music from the HomePod playing loudly. Siri is useful in terms of navigating throughout the vast musical library of Apple Music and doing basic commands for reminders, notes, weather, directions, store hours and messages/calls. However, in terms of a global search level, Siri can not compete with the superior Google Assistant. The downside to this speaker is that it can only be used with other Apple devices and Apple Music. However as someone who has everything Apple and is deeply invested into the ecosystem, it doesn’t matter to me. If you want to play Spotify or audio from other services, you’ll have to Airplay to the HomePod. In conclusion, this is a well engineered speaker with a fairly capable voice assistant included. Probably the best sounding smart speaker out there!

Fantastic small speaker. Gave it as a gift and the bass on it is pretty good for being a small speaker. I thought it would potentially have a small flatter sound but it’s got a pleasing sound

Great sound and fits well in the space, both size and color wise. Just be prepared for the new USB cable port.

The speaker sounds amazing, but I'm a little disappointed with the lack of open bluetooth for this speaker. My intention was to use this with my M1 Mac mini, but due to the fact it only uses airplay and not bluetooth, there is a constant 2-3 second delay for nearly all sounds played. Additionally, you can't set it to be used to play system sounds for some reason, and they disconnect from the Mac when not used/when the Mac sleeps so you must manually select the HomePods as your audio output source each time. Apple definitely is missing the mark on these as the don't "just work" for me. Hopefully they update them via software to enable bluetooth. As a speaker paired with my iPhone they sound phenomenal and definitely say they're worth it if bought on sale - just not worth it for my use case I suppose!

The sound is great, good bass. Audio quality is very impressive for such a small speaker. I rated it a 3 of 5 because it usually won’t sync when streaming shows. Audio from streaming shows is consistently about 3 seconds delayed making it impossible to use as an external speaker for that purpose. I’ve had my speaker for quite awhile now and Apple has not proactively addressed this issue despite that it’s Support forum is full of complaints about it.
