I have an ipad 4 but decided to order on the internet the ipad 2017 version last month because I needed more space, and this version has 128GB. Although the newer ipad is lighter and thinner, the quality of the pictures taken with this 2017 version is not as great as my old ipad. In addition, I didn't like how the gold color turned out; it made the ipad cheap looking. I understand that this is the "more affordable" version of the ipad (compared to the ipad pro) but it's still more expensive than the other tablets so I'm a bit disappointed with my purchase. However, most of what I said are about my personal preference but the product as a whole is still good, and deserves 4 stars in my opinion.

Lastest model is faster, takes better pictures and lightweight

Works great. Gave as a gift. Recipient is delighted as this replaces an older iPad mini that is wearing out. I am confident that it will last a good long time. My one fault against Apple iPad is the news content is definitely slanted. I'm able to make up my own mind and don't appreciate force fed one sided reports.

What can I say. It's a ipad. I use only mac products. With this ipad, transferring from computer to ipad is a breeze. Love this ipad.

My iPad 2 or 3 died and I needed to get a new one so it was easy to decide to get the newest version and it hasn’t let me down since.

I sold my old Ipad years ago and have been missing it since. When this went on sale I snatched one up and don't regret the purchase.

The iPad itself is great and is my third one after having the iPad 2 and the first Air. However, this is a review more about price match. I saw that Sam's club was having a very amazing sale on the price over the summer. I don't have a Sam's club near me so I went into a best buy and showed them the link and asked for a price match and they did it within 5 minutes. I was very happy about the quick service and the fact that they are accepting of prices from even member wholesale markets like sam's club and costco

The newest iPad is a high performing tablet in a very nice form factor. Each generation is a better value than the previous version.

I think the 5th Generation iPad is extremely fast. I had a 4th Generation iPad which I really liked. When I switched to the 5th Generation iPad, I was so happy that I did. You can have items you are working on and go back to other things you were working on so easily, without closing them. I highly recommend the 5th Generation iPad!

I bought this iPad and it was so much faster in browsing the Internet and processing on line purchases that I became spoiled. 3 years later, it was stolen and I had to return to my old 16 GB iPad. I now know what I appreciated about the 5th generation IPad. It is fast, efficient, easy to use and was my best friend.

Picked this up on a great sale which used to be uncommon with Apple Products. This is my first iPad and it seems to work. I'm a little disappointed this model went from the laminated screen to a 2 layer or whatever the technical term is. You can feel a little give in it using your finger or a stylus. Sad it doesn't have apple pencil support. But the price was great and didn't want to shell out twice as much for the pro model. It seems to be doing what I need. Will write more as I put it through the paces.

I love the size, weight, and I love how fast this computer is.

I use this iPad to access numerous IOS applications. The higher capacity 128 gig memory allows me to store information for retrieval when internet access is not available. I use it mainly for storage and playback of educational courses retrieved from the internet to view at any time or place. So far excellent battery performance.

I love my iPad experience! I’ve had an iPad the last 3 years. I moved from an Android Samsung tablet to an iPad. Best move ever.

Having owned iPads for a long time. I really appreciate that they have updated the iPad but have been able to decrease the price.

I really like this iPad. I traded in an old one and the difference is gratified. It is lighter as well as faster. Very pleased.

My husband liked mine so much, we bought another. Like the slightly bigger screen than regular iPad. Picture quality is great.
