Replacement iPad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this iPad reluctantly, to replace my iPad 2, which I loved dearly. With no more updates coming the iPad 2 is rapidly becoming obsolete and in truth, it had been getting very slow over the past year or so. When I saw the latest model at roughly half the price of what I originally paid for the iPad 2, I decided now was the time to take the plunge. I have no regrets. The new iPad isn't much different then the iPad 2. It's slightly smaller but, not enough to make any real difference. There's no real bells & whistles beyond what the iPad 2 had, just a newer version that has some improvements like Touch ID, improved screen clarity and, of course, it's much faster. So, if you have an iPad 2, just need an upgrade at a reasonable price and don't need any of the expanded feature of the iPad Pro, this is a great solution. Hopefully, I'll get as many years out of this as my old iPad 2, which I still use for streaming Hulu or Amazon Prime.

Good basic iPad

I did not get the cell version with GPS as I connect with a Bad Elf GPS for marine navigation. Great display and is easier to watch a movie than sitting in front of a TV. As long as I have internet, I am good to go.
