I was looking for a replacement for a family member's iPad Air (1). The iPad Pro 10.5 was just too significant of an investment. This is a good iPad. Does what you need it to do: faster processor than the Air without the bells and whistles of the iPad Pro. Of course, if you have the cash, get the iPad Pro with the smart keyboard. However, for the rest of us, I'm sure this will do just fine.

Bought the new iPad to replace my Mom’s old iPad 2. Easy to move settings over. Nice upgrade in performance and storage for a great price.. got it on Black Friday on an excellent discount.

Purchased in 2017, still works fine. Maybe a little slower than when new, but for my needs (no gaming, just browsing, e-mail etc), it works fine.

Sometimes have to reboot for bluetooth to work When filling out a form, iPad occasionally doesn’t match the same screen on MacBook. Since this is such a recent purchase, I’m willing to believe I simply haven’t learned the little ins & outs of operation. Other than that — I am thrilled with it. Battery lasts nearly forever. Very lightweight, convenient, good screen image, etc., etc.

This is my third iPad that I have owned. My last one was the iPad Air which stopped charging and could not be fixed. This newest iPad was really cheap for the price but had all the features I wanted. I was shocked that it was so much cheaper than my Air. It is faster than my husband's Asus and doesn't have his problems. The camera is great for taking pictures of my flowers and our pond's wildlife. Browsing is quick and the videos have good sound.

What else can you say? It's the best... Great screen resolution, the camera works nicely around the house. It is a bit lighter than my older version and battery life is about the same.

I’ve always enjoyed my iPad I’m glad I upgraded from the 3rd gen. It’s great.

This iPad is more than sufficient for the average "older" person who is technology challenged. It's easy to use, lightweight and pretty!

i am a fan of android tablets but i wanted try apple i pad for long time. so this thanksgiving i bought one. gotta admit its great. enough storage, sleek, fast. fits my need. love it.

Faster and bigger screen than an old, refurbished iPad Mini. Purchased during Cyber Week sales of Nov 2017 and used Best Buy Rewards points. Recipient is very happy with the upgrade.

My review is after owning this product for over a year. I would say the battery holds true to what is claimed. Also the battery is still holding an accurate charge. The device is easy to use and still works well with update releases coming out this year. 12 year old primarily uses this. We all have hot spots from our phone so I would recommend a data plan if you don't have hot spots for on the go.

If you want a tablet to surf the web, watch movies, and do other non work-related activities, this is a great option for a great price. The screen looks gorgeous and it is very fast!

Already had other Apple devices so decided to add an iPad. Same quality and ease of use of an iPhone. Previously had a galaxy tablet which was great, but definitely prefer the iPad.

I have an ipad air that works fine, but wife wanted a second one. I found refurbished Ipad air for $200.00 16gb. Or this new one better and faster with 32gb for $279.00. Good buy./

The iPad 2017 has great features for an unbelievable price. We upgraded our iPad Generation 2 and have been very happy with this purchase - better screen, processor, touch id, etc.

I bought this for my wife, I'm sure she will love it. Very handy for recipes, news, videos. The screen is very easy on the eyes with bright clear colors. The ease of use is amazing

I had a tragic accident with my Air 2 and was about to pay nearly $300 just to replace the glass when I got the circular saying the new iPad was on sale (for the same price as the replacement glass). I didn’t really know what to expect but I love it! My biggest gripe about the Air 2 was the camera quality but since I didn’t need to take pictures with my iPad, I just ignored it. This camera is awesome, though! I love the flexibility of not having to go grab my phone if my kids are doing something “photo-worthy”!
