I purchased the IPad during a door buster deal and for the price I couldn't find a better offer anywhere else

This was purchased as a gift to replace a first generation IPad. The recipient of the gift was ecstatic as there were no updates available to keep the old one running properly. And it had become a fight to use the older version.

Bought this to replace a 3rd generation iPad. The processor is faster and well priced. This model meets my needs without breaking the bank.

This is our third iPad. We have a Air 2 (mine) and a Pro (my daughter’s) and now this one for my husband. All are similar in size and features. I really cant see too much difference in this iPad. It’s wonderfully fast and has all the feature we could ever need. If it were for me I would get the higher storage. But he doesnt so too much downloading so it will be fine for him. Thank you Apple for making a wonderfully basic model with a adequate storage for those who need an iPad. We got such a good price at BestBuy.

I'm very happy with this purchase, upgrading from a mini to this unit. Much larger clearer screen, faster, and very responsive. Love my ipad!

The newest iPad is a faster version of the iPad 2 that I had used for the last several years. And it has twice the storage capacity. Love it.

I have always liked using my iPad. Nice to read books on and surf when I don't feel like lugging my laptop around and great to bring with me on trips etc since my wife does not complain about the iPad since it takes nice pictures like she does when I bring my laptop. Had to update because my old one would not update to the new iOS 11 - was stuck at 9. Very pleased so far. My only issue is that they are still too expensive, which is why I purchased on BF.

As with all Apple products markup is staggering. Plus is that it has the tightly controlled apple eco system. Downside is that Apple still refuses to use wide screen format which makes it hard to watch wide screen movies or shows.

Similar to iPad Air just different A9 chip set. Better than the Air 2 but it little slower than the iPad Pro

Bought as an upgrade from my iPad mini 1st generation. Easy set up and much faster than the old mini. Lighting and graphics are great.

My husband's kindle failed to work after having it for 8 years. He wanted another Kindle but didn't like what was available. I convinced him to get an Apple i pad as I have a mini one for almost 5 years and love it. The mini i pads were too expensive so he bought the regular size one and is getting to learn how to use it in addition to reading his books on the Kindle app. He would now recommend it . I love my apple products and finally sold him on them.

Why do people buy this model? Well, because it's an ipad. You get a nearly 10 inch screen and all the abilities of an ipad (minus the set of features in the higher end pro models). When you buy an ipad, you need to know about planned obsolescence. Apple plans new iOS updates every year. When they release updates, they make them compatible with several previous editions of the devices. When a device no longer can get an iOS update, it's reached planned obsolescence. At first this is no big deal. Your apps still work, your device still works, but over time apps (especially ones that use the internet) stop supporting old versions of iOS. Then the apps stop allowing you to use old versions. Just like that, your device becomes less usable than it was before. You can still browse the internet and use apps that don't have required updates, but you can't help but feel a little cheated. This is why I always suggest to people, buy the newest ipad hardware you can. It ensures you get the longest usable lifespan out of your investment.

The new iPad is slightly smaller than previous versions but the graphics and speed is superior. Nice product

This iPad is light and durable and very fast. Best Buy has great deals on Apple products and most of my Apple purchases come from Best Buy!

i recently purchased this iPad, this is similar to iPad air, but the only difference the A9 chip. A very good price at Best Buy, i bought this present for my mom's birthday.

Great value, only con is non laminated screen that feels cheap and hollow, zag glass screen protector helped.

Got this for my mom for Christmas and gave it to her early because we are going to Florida Christmas Day she loved it her old one was slow and would not get anymore updates

I needed to do this years ago. My old machine was getting so slow and this new model is better than my pic.
