This replaces an old IPad and is quicker and more efficient and light weight..

So, you already know the iPad and everything it can do. This iteration is great in every way, expect for 2. First, the size changed so all your old cases either won't fit or line up 100% correctly. That also makes for VERY slim pickings for cases. Second, is the screened. While just fine to look at, Apple took out the laminated screen and went back to the plastic hollow sounding touch screen that just doesn't feel solid. I felt it first on the iPad Air and didn't like it the controls don't like it now. Aside from those drawbacks, it's more bang for the buck and a good replacement for Gen 4 and older devices.

The IPad is very similar to one I had for 6 years. It has new features such as Siri-- which sometimes just get in the way. But I am basically happy with it. The only thing I don't like is the very small connector for recharging. It's hard to insert and seems fragile.

Great build quality, fast processor, nice display, fantastic price. Would recommend!

What can you say. It’s an iPad. Why would you buy any other tablet. My old one still works despite much abuse from children. It was just time for a new one.

Unfortunately I had to return this item before using it. The demo in the store is what sold me on this model. It’s very user-friendly, not difficult for those of us that are technologically challenged. Great size!!

Replaced older version and found that there were quite a few advances. Got this newer model from Best Buy at a special discounted price and it was in stock.

This new iPad is great and very light and portable. It is truly the next best thing.
