After 8 years my Apple iPad started responding slower and slower. Finally had enough of the slow responses and purchases the new Apple for my wife and myself. Happy again with fast responses.

Definitely faster than my older iPad Gen 3 (I believe Gen3, the one before the iPad Air). Websites load faster, i.e., Amazon used to bog down and take 6-8 irritating seconds to load/refresh sometimes, not anymore. I think the camera is slightly sharper, also. The software version is sleeker, just takes a little time to get used to some different screen presentations....but not a big deal. There are some features that I haven’t gotten into, like split screen....and I’m sure others....will have to explore one day. For the price, glad I upgraded our two tablets.

This is a gift so we haven’t opened it yet, but in general, this is a great product. My children use them to read, do math and spelling, and view movies. We have had iPads to share as a family - this will be my daughter’s first that is all her own.

Catching up on emails, eBooks, YouTube and movies is what iPad really excels at. Except for these, I really don’t see a use for this device. If you have an iPhone and a MacBook Pro, you will really use the iPad mostly for reading purposes only.

This is my 6th iPad tablet purchase for a gift. You cannot go wrong with iPad and iOS, premium hardware, big app ecosystem, ease of use. Android is not even near by. Best Buy got the best price of the season. In the market for a tablet? Go Apple!!!

I was in the market for a larger tablet. I found myself using my iPad Mini so much for videos​ that I thought a larger screen would be helpful. I was looking into the iPad Air 2 when the new iPad 2017 was announced. It has a better processing chip and as usual, newer is almost always better with electronics. I didn't see the need to pay for the iPad Pro since I'm just a casual user so this was about perfect. I wasn't​ expecting a huge difference here which turned out to be a good thing because there isn't much. My Mini 3 already had iOS 10 so most the interface is almost identical. After I imported all my settings, bookmarks and apps from iCloud, the only big difference was the size of the screen. Although, I do believe this new iPad has a better display. The images seem much brighter and more colorful. The larger screen has also helped with reading. Otherwise, there's really nothing to complain about here. Web pages load up quickly, videos run smoothly, and there's more than enough power to play any game I can throw at it.

I had an ipad air before. And I've seen it gradually slow down over time. Tabs opened slow and games loaded slower as time passed by. So I picked this up for an upgrade. Battery life is much better on this new ipad. And obviously better performance. Faster WiFi. But apple did cut some corners to arrive at this price I guess. Screen is pretty much the same compared to ipad Air. (If you had an ipad air 2, you're better off sticking to it. Air 2 has a better screen in my opinion). And this ipad feels a little heavy. Not much, but you'll notice it when you hold it.

Apple is so user friendly, making all its functions fun to use, and easy. There is nothing that compares with it. All the products from Apple are also simple to sync together so you can take your I-Pad with you and never be without Apple!! LOVE IT!

Thanks to Best Buy's generous trade-in special in April, I traded in my beloved iPad mini 2 for the new 2017 iPad. Didn't need to upgrade but getting $150 for my old mini made this iPad $200! And it's an upgrade in every way! Speed is great, weight is great! Using 2 apps side-by-side is awesome! And love having TouchID! I use this iPad for both work and play (as I did the mini) and the speed difference is noticeable. Took a little while to get used to the bigger size because I truly loved the size of the mini, but in the end the value the new iPad brings couldn't be ignored.

Size is great. Very light. Color. Very. Very pretty my self and my grandkids all love it. East to learn Fits in case in tore bag. Perfect for travel too

We now have 3 iPads within our household. We have never had any problems with them. iPads are cosmetically attractive and very comfortable to use but most of all their easy to use and the response time is very quick no matter what you are doing.

We upgraded to the new Ipads from a Ipad Mini 2 and 3. We had been holding out hope that a new Ipad would come along, but it didn't seem that was going to happen, so we decided to try this when it came out. I was originally worried about the size being too big and heavy, but overall I haven't noticed a lot of difference and I actually like having the bigger screen. I don't use mine for business purposes, just for reading, social media, games and email, so this has been a great ipad for a great price. I am much happier now having more storage space and a much nicer ipad.

Convience, quality, style. It's easy to use, smart technology, easy to set up. No complaints...well, one: get the holder thing for the back. The weight is noticable on wrists and hands after a while, kinda hurts. But other than that, it's great.

For the price this is the best iPad you can get. Especially if you get it with a slight discount. If you are on the fence about a new iPad. You are getting the same performance for almost everything you would get with much more expensive tablets.

I am in my late 60's ,so this is quite a new experience for me. I just got an Iphone last year which was provided by the company I work for ,something else I had never had.My son who has had numerous Apple products and other friends have been after me for years to step into the real world .Well thankfully I did and am very pleased with my Apple Ipad .It is definitely important to get a protective case for it and also a screen protector.i also use a tablet pen on the screen..I truly recommend the apple ipad for anyone wanting quality and a fun to work with product.

This iPad is amazing. It's extremely fast, has great battery life and charges quickly. There's plenty of storage. It has an amazing screen resolution.

Wonderful product for checking email, taking notes in medical school, downloading required reading, playing games...- had an older model and wanted the latest- Best Buy had it on a Black Friday deal where I saved $80 on it!! Can't beat that...

New Ipad brought new life to modern applications and games, Old generation 2 ipad of 6 years had slowed down with new features and was acting glitchy, so pretty much had done it years. Out with old and in with the new, Mom is happy once again!

My 6 year old son doesn't watch any TV and doesn't care to use a laptop, but loves his new iPad!! Very easy to use and can navigate between all of his educational games and videos from his school!! Great tool to prep for the coming 2nd grade.

I had the first line of Mini IPad when it came out and I used it - almost to death. Well, maybe not death but it was experiencing slowing down+. I purchased it primarily for downloading books but have since moved on to quite a few other uses. One thing I really like and take advantage of is to be able to use it when I am RVing. So, I decided to 'upgrade' from the mini series since I am also slowing down [aging]. This device is easier on the eyes and not that much heavier. And it will go into my purse for those times when I am sitting waiting to be seen for an appt.
