Upgraded from an iPad Air 1 and this tablet is beautiful and the price is a welcome as I originally paid $399 for the iPad Air 1 model. Apple devices maintain their value which is one of the main reasons they are worth their price. Beautiful screen, very fast and overall works flawless. I can see myself waiting at least another 3 generations before I upgrade again, extremely happy with this device 10 out of 10

Verified Purchase This is truly a fantastic iPad for the money. I was skeptical when comparing to the iPad Pro model. There are certain differences but if you can get passed aesthetics, this is most likely the iPad for you. It does not have the fully laminated display so there is a glare. It has the A9 vs A9X chip. It has dual speakers on the bottom and not quad stereo speakers like on the Pro. It also does not have the smart connector for utilizing Apple's new Smart Cover Keyboard, and is not compatible with Apple Pencil. Other than that, I don't think you can beat this value. Great product overall.

Best Buy did a great job of spacing the sale of these out and limiting the number able to buy on black Friday so everyone has a chance to take advantage of the price

This is my third iPad since the original came out years ago. I love it for reading books, journals, magazines and my Wall Street Journal. This has everything I need.

A few years ago I thought I would save money by buying a Kindle Fire HD rather than an iPad. Through most of its lifetime I have been frustrated with it while my wife's iPad, that is about the same age, has be perfect. I finally decided to replace it with the latest iPad and am extremely pleased. With the light usage I give it, I can go 2 or 3 days between charges an it just performs and does everything I want.

Had a 1st Gen Apple mini. Decided to upgrade to a larger screen. Top quality product and love the sync between iPhone IPad and Apple TV. Would and will keep buying.

Upgraded from a iPad mini gen1. I was debating getting the IPad Pro or just the IPad (lastest model). My wife has the Pro and after looking at hers for a few days I decided the the IPad had everything that I wanted except the pro's keyboard option (which I do like). I am a Realtor and a military reservists and the IPad does what I need it to do and is a nice toy to read kindle books on and watch Vudu downloads.

This was the perfect upgrade for my husband’s iPad. Got it on a Black Friday deal. He loves it; much faster than his older one and has the fingerprint recognition.

Replaced older iPad that had storage issues and no longer supported newer versions of ios .... still a good choice. Seems lighter and brighter. very happy with it.

I'm very pleased. This model is much faster than the gen 2 iPad it replaced. I especially like the fingerprint login and can dictate instead of typing if I choose.
