Purchased for my parents. Less than 3 months of use and then the screen developed a serious hardware issue where it would flicker nonstop. Brought it back to Best Buy where no help was offered whatsoever, as it was past the "14 day exchange period."

First, I got an unbelievable deal on this tablet. BB was offering a $150 trade in on my iPad Air, I had $20 in rewards certificates to use, and BB also gave me 10% off for using my BB credit card. So, I walked out with a new iPad for $130!!! As for the tablet, it is a huge upgrade from my 1st gen Air. Many reviewers are comparing it to the Air 2 and concluding it is not much of an improvement, but that is not the best comparison becasue this new version is aimed at people who have older models. Compared to my original Air, this tablet has a brighter screen, touch ID, twice the memory (32 gb vs. 16gb.) the ability to use split screen, and best of all it's significantly faster than my old one. The chip is an A9, compared to an A7 in the original Air, and believe me does that make a difference. All in all couldn't be happier I upgraded.

My son was attempting to put this into a hard case. The glass cracked with the pressure that was applied. I looked at it to find our what happened . I notice that there was lot of flexibility in the over all device. Just a heads up!!

I can say overall price of iPad 5th generation is bit on high side. Specs not looks good for me. In this price apple should give atleast 64 gb storage. Display quality is not promising.

This is my first device from Apple. The tablet is definitely not worth the money. It's almost impossible to copy something from a laptop with Windows. Not supported microSD card. Little memory.

Good product but it loses compete sound sometime and then we have to restart it to make it work.I guess its a common mistake in iPad's as i also exchanged this and new one is also having same issues.

I purchased this iPad on June 9th, 2017. when I got it and do some searching about this, the info shows that this one is activated since April 23rd. However, after talking with 2 agents it seems like Nothing Wrong with it because it is still in SEAL. No matter what its condition is. the Apple system is the most reliable source for checking their own product. I bought the brand new one but got the used one. Is that fair enough? What a BestBuy? I used to plan to buy one more for my son if this one is OK. But not anymore. Thank you BestBuy very much. LOL

Still working after all these years. My wife loves this thing. Uses it for shows and for recipes while she is in the kitchen cooking. She has taken it on the airplane and just uses the heck out of it. Good quality to last this long.

I own a iPad mini 2, a couple of Samsung Galaxy tags, and a Acer iconia one 10. All are fantastic quality tablets. I figured I would add a bigger screened iPad for the display real estate, you know documents, coding, productivity type of things! I figured that this would be like my mini 2 only bigger?? Well assumptions are often inaccurate as I very quickly found out.. while the mini 2 is great, the a9 processor in the 2017 iPad make it phenomenal!! Buy it!

I bough this gift for my daughter and she had it for a little over a year and the mother board started messing up. It no longer will work.

I got on Black Friday sale. It’s only about 6 month and now it starts shutting off suddenly and stops working often. I am very disappointed with that!

I’ve been using this iPad since 2018 with no complaints. I love it, still goes fast and works good as the new iPads that come out. I use it everyday and the pictures come out welll too! I’m not much of a FaceTime person but it works good for when I do have to use it.

This was the 1st Apple product I have owned and after just 2 years it has stopped charging. I contacted Best Buy and it costs $250 to fix it and since it only costs $300 to buy new I have a really expensive paper weight. This will be the last Apple product I ever buy since I have an 8 year old Samsung Tablet that is still working with heavy use. The Apple Ipad was only used as a baby monitor, that is it!!!
