I picked this up for $279.00 and then it went on sale again for $249.00. Overall excellent product! I almost got a Samsung tablet but they dont even touch the quality and resolution of iPad. This iPad was lower price than any Samsung tablet i was looking at. Overall had it for a few weeks and no complaints. Finally an Apple product for a very reasonable price with a quality build as usual, thanks Apple! Picked up a cheap but great case on Amazon and got a glass screen protector. Highly Recommend.

I am likely biased b/c I also have an iPad Pro 9.7 and an iPad Mini 4, but the iPad 2017 screen feels cheap. I don't notice the additional glare in all lighting conditions but I know its use in brighter ambient lighting is limited - that doesn't bother me as much as the feel of it. It feels and sounds cheap when I tap on an app or link. Granted, I did pick this iPad up on sale at a minimum price and the saying, "you get what you pay for" definitely applies to the screen. And the heft. Being used to the iPad Pro and Mini, I definitely notice the additional thickness and weight. Still, it was a good price and I got this iPad to share with my family. I use my mini for work stuff only and my pro for personal use - I use it quite frequently so it is more convenient for me (and my family) if there is another iPad they can access. This iPad 2017 will serve that purpose, but I do think the lack of laminated display is a noticeable decrease in user experience.

This is the first new Apple product I have purchased in a long time. This tablet is fast, excellent graphics!

I was looking for an expensive but well recommend tablet for gaming. Looked at the kindle fire and read the reviews for it, then compared it to the ipad. Which in turn was no comparison, every penny spent is well worth it.

These are obviously good products but I would like to get a printed book with something that costs this much. Call me old fashioned but sometimes reading the printed page is easier. I am new to tablets so I bought a book for this one. Actually bought 2 books. One of them used incorrect terminology but I figured it out.

Great iPad for a price. I trade in my old iPad for $99 dolars in Best Buy to use that money for the new ipad and I am very happy.

This is my second defective product from apple. I purchased the ipad last night and found that the display around the bottom bezel is little yellowish or faded white.. last time when i purchased an ipod touch the second or third day it heated up and the display went bad. this time the ipad is having the display issue. I am going to return it in 40 days.

This is the second time apple has shipped a new product to me with old software which makes the setup process the biggest headache and near impossible. I had to return an apple laptop for this issue and I’ll likely have to return this iPad too. Apple’s hubris is unbelievable.

Please do not purchase IPAD if you think it will last for at least five years. I purchased IPAD Air two years ago and now it is dead. Google "Dead IPAD" and you will see how many people face this problem. Apple store employee indicated that two years is quite long for the device to last. I don't have that kind of money to throw away. I understand that there may be other people whose IPAD may be working just fine after so many years. Mine didn't. I strongly advise you to purchase a 10" android or windows tablet. It will last you longer and even if it doesn't, you only lose $100 bucks v/s $400.
