I was looking to replace my mini first gen with a 4, but none were available at the time. Did not realize how much smaller than the iPad 2 this iPad is until I tried an old folio I had. It's almost a perfect midsize between the 2 and a mini.

Problems with initial set-up revolved around Apple log-in insisting that this machine and my wife’s were one and the same. My brother-in-law and his wife had the same problem with their iPads.
