great replacement for laptops to cary. good camera

I purchased this instead of the pro because I couldn't justify the benefits of spending that much more--I've had 4 iPads and a pro now; not much difference between them.

Overall, I have been extremely happy with my purchase. This purchase was for my wife for her birthday, and I bought it because of the price honestly. But the iPad is super fast, just as fast as my iPad Pro 9.7" and overall has been a great purchase. Would highly recommend for someone looking to get their first iPad.

Considerable improvement in startup speed. Same ease of use. Perfect if you don’t need connection away from WiFi. However, it works well with a personal hotspot.

I was using an Android tablet. It was constantly "bug"gy. I was tired of dealing with it. I'm a iPhone user, so naturally when I was ready for an upgrade, I went for the iPad. I got the iPad Pro as it was going to be useful for work. I love the additional features from the regular iPad. So far, so good!

Purchased to use as a music platform for walkup music at baseball games. Device holds an adequate amount of music. Playback is somple and sound quality is good.

I upgraded from an iPad Air (1st Gen) and immediately noticed a difference in performance. I wish there was a third memory option instead of only 32 GB or 128 GB.

iPads are easily the best tablets you can get and highly recommend them. This was my first iPad and I ended up giving it to my son. I bought another one but even the base model is a great media device. I mainly use it for YouTube and Netflix.

Cannot go wrong with an iPad. This one was a mother-in-law gift and was perfectly priced (wi-if only version). Size is a bit different than prior models - caused a little problem finding a keyboard. Overall, however, this device works well, is very handy and easy to use, and extremely versatile for work or play.

This is my fourth iPad, and the best yet. I upgraded from a third generation model and their truly are some significant improvements. I particularly enjoy the split screen feature, the fingerprint sensor and the ability to close multiple tabs at once. Their are many other upgrades here that I have yet to discover.

My dad uses it to read his books and check his email. More than enough power for him to use it casually for the next few years. As long as the battery holds up.

This ipad is allot faster than my old 1 I've noticed the iPad is reliable I'm replacing my 10 year old ipad1 with this model hope it lasts as long as my first 1

I returned this and choose the 128gb ipad mini which is a better choice for me. I needed the GB and the size is perfect!

The new 2017 9.7" iPad is great. The 32Gb standard memory is sufficient and using the wifi model with my iPhone's hotspot has given me all the connected portability I need. The $329 price is what hooked me. I had an iPad 2, but gave it to my granddaughter, so the new 2017 lower priced iPad got me back in the game.

We were in desperate need of an upgrade as the iPad we were using was generation 3 from like 7 years ago. This iPad is perfect and just what I need to surf the web and use my apps. It's design is lightweight and the gold is pretty. The old iPad has now been retired for my daughter's use only! Would recommend.

This IPad is still running properly after 2 years use. I'm not an apple fun, but have to say this ipad meet all our expectation and beyond.

I've owned several iPads since they were initially released. This generation is far my favorite because of the price point. The only drawback is that the screen feels a little "hollow" to the tap as compared with earlier models. However, it's still a sturdy tablet.
