    My wife and I bought 2 iPads for our children, to replace an old outdated ipod touch and a samsung galaxy tab lite. Both are given, and only to be used at our discretion... and locked down so all requests from ipad are approved/disapproved by us. Learning apps, select games, kids messenger (txt/video chat w/family who don't have apple devices..like me (daddy) and grandpa, facetime with Mami, sis, aunt, and grandma.
