I bought this for note taking and purchased a keyboard cover for it. I love it and it makes note taking while teaching a breeze.

The new apple pencil-friendly screen makes the difference. There´s not too much speed difference if you already have an ipad air or air 2. if you don´t care about the pencil it´s a very good deal and chance to upgrade, since there was no 9" ipad under $400.

Got it reduced at $270 and, having owned 2 iPads before (1st gen and mini 4th gen), this feels like a fantastic tablet for that price.

The very best tablet on the market. The iPad is a great addition if you are integrated into the apple ecosystem I was able to set up the new iPad by simply waving my phone in front of it. That was a really cool feature and links right up to my Apple ID.

Wish I had gotten a larger memory since it can’t hikd more than 1-2 movies. Works great and use it mostly for internet and games.

Had a mini pad but had a hard time because Text was a bit small. Enjoy the size the text

Bought for my wife as a Christmas present. She really enjoys the app games such as scrabble. She also uses for phone calls with children and Grandchildren with face time. This iPad is perfect for all she uses it for. Would recommend it.

I got this ipad with the pencil mostly for using good notes. It is amazing how much more organized my life is now that all my to do lists, lesson plans, goal setting lists EVERYTHING is digital and accessible through my phone or my ipad.

The price point on these iPads finally became reasonable and perfect timing for Mother's Day. If you want a no-nonsense iPad that can surf the web, do emails and a little extra storage space for photos/videos, then this is the iPad for you!

What can I say about the iPad that hasn’t been said a gajillion times? It simply is the best product that Apple has ever made. It has the form and functionality that you expect from Apple. And it’s reasonably priced! Well done Apple.

I like apple tablets and the features they offer. I still prefer the iPad minis since I use mine more for playing games and such.

Needed to replace an old iPad 1 and this unit is way better. As with any Apple product it's a bit overpriced but still worth it.

I started to use it as a notebook and it works for me. Now don’t expect the good note taking apps that work with the Apple Pencil to be free

I bought this iPad for my daughter, she uses it at school, to do homework and for fun, we love it!! Very kids friendly,best thing is that I connected to my iPhone and I have have to approve any purchases or apps that my daughter tries to download!!

I’ve used apple for my computer needs for years. So when I had a outdated iPad mini that needed to be updated I found this iPad and knew it was what I needed. Truly works great. Love the color and only keeps getting better with each update!

Fast and somewhat easy to use. Would be nice to get a physical manual with it, also would have been nice to get a sleeve with it.

Using my iPhone to load my iPad was what made me realize what I had been missing. I had put off getting an iPad because I expected to spend days loading it as I am electronically challenged and my computer wizards live many miles away.

Bought this for my father who is not tech savvy at all! His previous tablet was a few years old, and it was time for an upgrade. He mostly watched movies/shows. However, with the iPad he's gotten into facetime with the grand kids, etc.

After the aging iPad mini showed sign of failure, it was time to replace. Over the years, their needs have changed. This iPad can utilize the Apple Pencil which is a huge feature. Now they will able to use their creative minds in a positive way.

Replaced older iPad. Much faster and better features. Some apps not compatable with a keyboard cover. Recommend for basic use.
