My last full sized tablet was the iPad 3rd generation (2012). When the new iPad Air 2 was announced, I did not intend to purchase one, but, with a good trade-in to Gazelle for the iPad 3 and an excellent trade-in to Best Buy for an iPad2, I walked out of my local Best Buy with the new iPad Air 2. The difference in performance between my old iPad 3 and the new iPad Air 2 is amazing. The difference in the weight is also very nice; much more like the iPad mini but with a much larger screen. The new screen technology used by Apple provides an excellent viewing experience with sharp images an vibrant color. The addition of Touch ID provides additional function I was used to on my iPhone 5s but could not use on an iPad until now.

I had an original IPAD and really debated about spending the money for a new one. However, I was having so many problems with my original that I was spending more time doing "fixes" than I was using it for fun. I looked at the new ones at Best Buy store and when I saw they had an "open box" special, I decided to purchase. SO GLAD I did! New one is lighter, infinitely better display, faster, you name it.

Had an iPad 2 but decided to upgrade to the iPad Air 2. Best decision I made this year!

Aside from sizable document design and production (for which I use a PC laptop), I use my ipad for everything: email, Internet surfing, video display, research, report generation, document reproduction and scanning, leisure reading, and a host of other things. So much lighter than my 2nd gen ipad. Faster than all tablets I raced it against (haven't actually held an ipad pro...). Fantastic.

I purchased the iPad Air 2 on sale for $125 off retail. It is very fast and very light, the iPad Air 2 does everything i need it to. I had thought about the Pro but I rarely use iPad for productivity and wasn't worth an extra $400 to me. This iPad will be fine for at least a few years to come. I also recommend the Apple iPad Air case, it is expensive but looks great and doesn't add bulk.

This iPad Air2 was available at a very good price at Best Buy with a $100 off the retail price, with all the features and the storage. I have been very satisfied with its performance. I paired this with ZAGG - ZAGGfolio Bluetooth Keyboard Case for Apple® iPad® Air 2 - Blue and that makes it very handy with a keyboard to go with the iPad. There is no additional need for any protection for the iPad.

I put of my purchase of a tablet/iPad for YEARS. Now I wish I hadn't waited so long. I love love love my new iPad Air 2. I opted for the 128GB version since I don't use iCloud for back-up and I didn't want to be tied up on space since I largely want to use my iPad for music and movies. I love the size of the full iPad opposed to the mini. The mini feels too close to the iPhone 6 that I have.

I use my iPad at work and for play. I love it! iPads are the standard for tablets.

I got an iPad first generation when they hit the stores. This iPad Air 2 replaced that. I love that it's lightweight, has two cameras, and lots of storage. The ID fingerprint sensor seems gimmicky to me but works well. I looked at other tablets, particularly the Surface Pro, and came back to the iPad. The selection of apps for it is endless, it works seamlessly with iTunes, and it's fun to use.

My first iPad. Very satisfied with the screen size, although smaller than my 15.6" laptop the iPad is so sharp I don't mind the smaller size and find I seldom use my laptop anymore. Buy as much memory as you can, even if you don't use it now your resale will be much better when you upgrade and sell the old model. As for not being 4G for the few times I need it I just teather to my iPhone.

Much lighter, easier to use, easier to carry. Most of all.....much faster processor.

I love my new iPad, it is lightweight and very sleek. It is also super fast.

I finally switched from the iPad 2 to the iPad air 128G model. This is definitely faster than my iPad 2. I used it for about 3-4 hours daily and I only have to charge it every other day. I thought that I would miss the larger iPad 2 screen, but within a few minutes after opening the package I was hooked. BTW, the slow motion camera is awesome - I video my kids dancing, it was hilarious.

It's lighter weight and faster than its predissor. The camera is also better.

The I Pad Air 2 is my best present to myself ever! Its size and light weight make it perfect to take anywhere, but I especially love the sharp picture and ease of moving around between its many functions. I was at the airport returning home after experiencing the Tournament of Roses parade and the making of the floats. The girl sitting next to me had her I Pad out viewing pictures of their recent trip (looked like visit to Hawaii). I remarked how beautifully put together her slide show was, and she told me that the I Pad did that automatically! I couldn't wait to upload the pictures I had taken with my camera of the parade when I got home. The whole process was seamless! Now I relive the splendid colors and artistry of the parade by watching the very creative slide show on my I Pad.!

This is smaller and slimmer than the Ipad air. My kids love this device. Fast responsive and the Apple app store make it versatile. Loved this product so much a purchased a second one for my wife Best buys has some excellent pricing on this product. If you are in the market for one - go out and grab one from Best Buy. Ample storage for all your downloads as well
