Bought this to replace my wife's 3 year old iPad. She loves the new style and I bought the extra storage for all her photos. These things seem to have a shelf life of about 3 years then start acting up. She loves this though.

you can't go wrong with an I-Pad. it was for my mom and she loves it. She gets to be on Facebook to see her kids, grandkids and great grandchildren. she can receive her email and play games. And take it with her. She loves it.

I upgraded from the iPad 2 with retina display. I think I am so used to using a tablet that I didn't expect any "new" user experience from it so I am not disappointed from that standpoint. I do think it is a lot faster. I can keep multiple tabs open in Chrome and it doesn't lag like my previous model. I also build and test websites and I find the overall responsiveness of the new iPad is noticeable. I would say if you are at least two generations old on your iPad or haven't had a retina display, it is worth it.

I wish they hadn't taken away the button you could flip to mute all sounds like my old ipad had but this one is of course faster which is good since recent ios updates did the whole planned obsolescence thing to my ipad 4 :-\

There are great upgrades on this version compared to my first iPad.

Apple did a great job of eliminating the screen glare that suffered from previous models. Fast processor and very light for travel.

Apple is definitely my favorite brand for tablets it works awesome.

After Apple announced their "new" iPad release, I read the specs and decided the iPad Air 2 at Best Buy's new price was the better value to upgrade to from my old iPad 3. Free 2 day shipping made it an even better value.

Bought for my daughter to replace a 1st generation iPad. No regrets.
