The glass is the same as in the earlier models which is too fragile and prone to breaking easily. It picks up finger marks and smudges that are an eye sore and hard to clean. Apple should have used something like the gorilla glass.

Now I need a slim case because of course you dont want to scratch the thing. It will ask you to download a set of apps that come free (apple apps similar to google docs). This was an trade up from an Ipad 3 and it makes a big difference.
