Right now I've been using it more for games, entertainment, writing and reading. I have a MacBook Pro but my OS isn't upgradable to sync with this item. That's my only downside. So my next purchase will most likely be a new MacBook Pro.

I bought this primarily for my wife. She had an iPad 3 (1st one with Retina display) and it was starting to show its age. We both use it and it's a magnificent improvement over the old iPad. For anyone with an older iPad and looking to save some money, this is a great choice.

I purchased this IPAD to use for reading and doing home work. While it works very well, there are still a lot of compatibility issues with non-Apple items. The convenience it provides is exactly what I needed when a laptop is not conducive.
