Even though it is a couple years old, its still fast enough for browsing the web and looking at videos. Its very thin and has great battery life.

It's nice that the memory now starts at 32 gb which is perfect for all I use it for. Faster processor and better battery than my old iPad as well.

Purchased for my wife who has been using an Ipad for four years and she loved it so we bought the Ipad Air 2 and it is very close to her first Ipad just a little smaller and a little sharper. It has 32gb of memory where her old one had 16, wish it had a slot for external memory! She loves it and we are both happy.

This is my 2d iPad and I love it. The first one was model 2 and it was heavy -- I still bought the same size but not the professional b/c I only use the iPad for a few things. I have a computer for the other. I think it is important to consider what you'll do w/the iPad. I'm reading news (through Apple news mostly), playing Candy Crush :), email, internet, Yoga, and jigsaw puzzles. I no longer use it for work which is why I didn't get the PRO version and the smaller iPad is just too small for me to do 288 piece jigsaw puzzles.

Bought my mom this for Christmas and love the ease of usage. I had putchased the same one to upgrade and love the speed clarity of the screen.

I replaced a 4 yr old iPad with a very cracked screen with this. It is faster and so much lighter. I wish I'd have purchased this much sooner.

I bought this iPad for my parents to replace the old iPad mini 2, they are happy with this one because of big screen size and easy to touch.

I purchased this for my son with his money he saved. He uses it for school work and also face timing his friend who recently moved to another state. He will use this for many years and seeing he paid for it with his own money he takes real good care of it. The I pad itself is much better than most of the other tables out there based on weight and reliability. I am an android user, but would purchase an Ipad based upon the functionality and the updates of IOS. Most android tablets do not get updates and are obsolete within a year.

Very light and convenient to carry during class. I am gonna rely on this for the next few years in college to take notes and read readings.

It's light and easy to use. It's Touch ID makes unlocking simple. The App Store has many useful apps. Overall you should definitely get it!

Absolutely love this iPad, the screen is just the right size, I love how slim it is, the quality is great, I'm glad I picked this one.

My first iPad and it didn't disappoint. Speed and ease of use is much better than the google nexus. Would stick with iPads going forward.
