Smaller than my last iPad 2, which is still going strong. Needed a new case, but that's OK since I gave the old one to my son. It feels much lighter, easier to hold for long periods. The Retina display is much better than my old iPad and it is much faster to respond and download. Transferring my settings was easy using the free Apple cloud account. Log in, say yes to import all my old stuff and let it download and setup a bit. It all came down perfectly, program group folders, program settings, mail, etc. Very easy.

Quick , responsive better camera for FaceTime and more storage for games... colors more vibrant and sharp great upgrade over mini 2..

Great value for the price. Great balance of size and weight. Crisp, bright display. iOS runs perfectly, including split-screen apps.

It goes without saying that it is fast and easy to use. Great for older people to read books on. Beautiful display and nice design

Great to take along on vacations, while waiting for doctor's to see you, use as a camera, computer, to catch up on your FB and play the numerous games that are made available through MODERN TECHNOLOGY. This is a replacement for my old iPad which broke down just as my Apple warranty ran. I made the mistake of not taking additional insurance which I did with this purchase. Great product!

I bought this for my husband since I already have a ipad third generation figuring with the ease of user friendly, my husband will learn to use it. He has! He enjoys it being faster than a small notebook computer he had been using. He was surprised that all he had to do was close the case, I had also purchase with this, and it was off. He now has it close to his chair for easy access while he is in his recliner. Now for him to be happy with this, says a GREAT deal about the Ipad Air 2. Cannot go wrong!

The new one replaced my old iPad, it is lighter and slightly smaller, the photo camera is much sharper with many new features.

I originally purchased this item to replace the original iPad that I purchased for my mom in 2011. The resolution and speed is so much better. Apple seems to continue to make good products and also friendly to use for older individuals. I did purchase a Samsung tablet to save money but was much more difficult to use. So I returned it and purchased the iPad Air 2. However I strongly believe that apple candle these items more affordable. They should not be this expensive.

I had an IPad2 and it was getting so slow and clunky. I upgraded to my iPad Air2 and it is so much quicker and beautiful to look at. I am very happy with the upgrade and the additional memory.

We were looking at the ipad mini and the ipad air and decided to go with the larger ipad. This has been the best gift ever for me 10 year old. He can use this for school, games and netflix.

I upgraded from an iPad 3 to a iPad Air 2. I love my iPad 3 and its design and feel, all except for the weight and interface. so I got exactly the same screen size and storage; just an upgrade. It's more "phone or tablet" like in design and feel, but it's much lighter and faster, so it's just what the doctor ordered, especially since I carry it around a lot. The interface still annoys me sometimes like the iPad 3 did, but not as much - maybe since it's faster:)

Lighter, faster and less expensive than any other ipad yet. Really the only choice for serious tablet users.
