I haven't had an iPad since I gave my iPad 2 to one of my parents. But, since I have DirecTV and it only allows streaming from my DVR to a tablet, I decided to get this iPad. I like the Microsoft Surface Pro much better, except that DirecTV treats it like a full-blown desktop computer (because it works just like a desktop PC). Best Buy had this iPad for sale at $100 or more off, so I grabbed it. It's good for what it is -- a media consumption device -- although it's still far too expensive to that. I can't wait until the day where non-Apple tablet devices can really function like a tablet and computer (like the Surface does), and where app developers also treat both the same. Until then, I'm stuck with a very expensive portable media consumption device.

Worth every penny, exceptional tech product, I would recommend this tablet to everyone. Easy to use and so many apps.

My old iPad 2 was just too slow. Tried a cheap android tablet but it was too finicky. This new iPad is fast - perfect.

I am very happy with my purchase. The I-pad itself works great. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that IOS does not provide remote control of one I-pad by another. I bought this I-Pad for my mother who lives in another state and needs remote support quite often.
