    The hardware is thin and light and the retina display looks great. The speakers on this iPad are better than any of the others I've heard to date. My problem is with the new OS. I can't seem to upload all of my music, video and books without iTunes canceling the sync. I have to sync over and over. My content eventually gets on to the device, but it was a lot more work than I thought. Overall...iPad hardware gets great marks however, IOS software could use some work. I'm sure this will improve, but for right now IOS 8 is NOT a selling point.

    I originally had an old Ipad 2 that started to get glitch after a good few years. So I bought a replacement for that device and went with this one. I like the touch unlock feature that my old one didn't have. The camera is much better and its much faster.

    Bought this for my husband so he could put all his sheet music on it in pdf form. Found a free app to do so for now. Plan is to get a Bluetooth pedal to turn pages so he can just put this up on the music stand and see all the music. And of course he uses it for email, calendar, surfing the web etc. No problems so far, he's comfortable with the apple products. Large storage capacity is great for him.
