I bought this as a replacement for my 1st generation iPad, whose battery was getting weak; iOS 5 is also pretty lame at this point. As expected, the Air2 is much faster and the features of the latest iOS are slick. I did not expect the size & weight to matter that much, but I'm surprised to admit that it does - it's much easier to hold & carry (but maybe I'm getting a little soft!) Although I never thought I wanted or at least needed the original iPad (it was a gift), I've become addicted to it and use it for most of the tasks I used a PC for, plus reading books. My PC is relegated to heavy duty tasks like database, photo editing, writing, archival storage, and backup, and my laptop is just gathering dust.

Having owned prior versions of iPad, the iPad Air has excellent quality graphics (Retina Display) and is much lighter and comfortable than prior models. I purchased this particular product for my 10 year-old daughter so she can use it mostly to read books and do her web-based homework assignments, and she loves it.

I bought this item for my 7 year old daughter and she LOVES it. It's easy to use and is very similar in usage to her IPOD. She loves the big screen and that it's very light.

Very user friendly. It can be opened with just a light touch of your finger,and getting in and out of websites is a breeze. Battery lasts quite a long time which was a pleasant surprise because my,other iPad would get depleted quite often.

This iPad is my third one and the absolute best one yet. I also have a bunch of android tablets but keep coming back to the iPad. Speed is tremendous and all the processor intensive apps that I use runs flawlessly. If you're in the market for a tablet and require processing power and ease of use, look no further.

i bought this ipad air 2 to replace my really old ipad (1st generation). I love the tablet. The graphics, pictures, and music are very clear. The speed is very fast. Very very user friendly and I love how the iPad syncs to my other Apple devices. It makes it so comvenient to transfer files from device to another.

This I-Pad takes great pictures, i like the fact that it was light weight. i didn't like the fact that the fact that the bundle of the 1 year geek squad included a webroot purchase because my Mac Computer came with this and can be used on up to 3 devices so i feel it was redundant and cost me unnecessary money!!!

this tablet is even better and faster than the first ipad air. i did not think that was possible, but it is! fingerprint sensor is also very reliable and convenient to use! tablet is fast, screen is great and doesnt have too much glare. colors pop off the screen. and this thing is remarkably light and thin!

This is a very good tablet. Extremely thin and fast. However, it is limited by iOS. Split screen is nice and a welcomed feature but hate how it does not work with every application. If you are just looking for a tablet to browse webpages and watch videos recommend all the way. But if you are looking for more productivity the surface line is better. (Albeit the surface line is not as good of a "tablet")

I bought this because I was tired of all of the issues I was having with my Surface. This tablet is awesome and I take it everywhere with me. It's super light and has great battery life. I use it for play and grad school and it gets the job done. MS Office on ipad takes getting used to but it's worth it.

I have always wanted an Ipad since they came out, but I am the one who waits for the next one because I know it will be better. So this year when the Ipad Air 2 came out I knew it was time to get one. It is very light and good battery life. It is was very easy to set up. I am really enjoying it. Great purchase.

I moved up to the IPAD AIR2 from an IPAD 1 and was amazed at the added features gained as well as the light weight of the product. I particularly like the tie to my Iphone as a communication device along with the speed of the device when performing the tasks I perform. It definitely exceeded expectations.

What else can you ask for? A 9.7 inch tablet, with blazing fast speed on iOS 9 (am an Apple fanboy!) and in the right hands with the right apps will enhance your productivity. Highly recommend

Purchased this device for myself and was so impressed that I purchased another for my husband. The device is super thin, which makes it easy to carry anywhere. While I also own an IPad Pro, the Air 2 is more than enough for the average tablet owner. It is well worth the money.

I am very impressed.I previously owned the ipad 2nd gen so this was quite the leap for me.however I am VERY impressed with the upgrade and love how fast and responsive this ipad air 2 performs compared.The screen is retina so whatever that means it is a very brilliant display. I am in love with it.

After my wife gave her iPad 2 to our college daughter, she realized how much she had grown to use it. So we splurged to buy this for her and an iPad 3 mini for me. No regrets! Pros: Good battery life, fast connect to Wifi, brilliant image Cons: Pricey tablet, iOS and app updates can be annoyingly frequent

What does one get for Christmas when they already have a Mac and an iPhone? Another Apple product! After comparing prices and sizes, this was the Best deal. Really like the size and the light weight, perfect for viewing movies. I highly recommend Liquid Armour screen protector for this especially if you download apps for your pets the screen won't get scratched up. The only downside is that there are no instructions and I am unable to completely sync all my music and some of my apps. I think it has to do with the cloud and I will have to disable it or make an appointment with the Genius Bar.

Great tablet, smart features and stunning retina display. If you have an older I-Pad such as the original, or the I-Pad 2 it's time to up-grade. If you have the 3 or 4, then you are probably okay, unless you want the hot looking Gold color and a super thin pad. This thing is thin and the stereo speakers rock.

I like the iPad air 2 better then the iPad Air, the iPad air 2is lighter and it takes better pictures. I also like the finger print part they added, it keeps my grandchildren from buying things when they don't know what they are doing. I also like the gold color they came out with and not just black or white.

Finally replaced my iPad 1 and am thoroughly impressed with the iPad Air 2. The difference in dimensions and performance is quite impressive. Got a pretty good deal from BB on a physically flawless open box 64 GB model, that so far, works great. Really glad I made the switch and am enjoying the new purchase.
