I traded in my iPad 3 to upgrade to the iPad Air 2. I love it. There is nothing wrong with the iPad 3, but the iPad Air 2 is just so much lighter, thinner, and faster. And the touch id is much more sensitive than my iPhone 5s, I never have to touch the sensor more than once to unlock the iPad which I often had to do with the iPhone 5s.

If you are already a fan of Apple iPad products, this iPad Air will not disappoint. If you are new to iPads, you should feel comfortable to give this a try. The big win here is the new finger print sensor which makes logging into apps so much more efficient, especially when you don't have a keyboard hooked up to your device. While I love the new light weight design, I don't get too excited about that aspect, because I end up installing a heavy protector and keyboard on my iPads anyway.

very nice display and weight!! I love my new iPad!! I would recommend getting the 64gigabite or larger if you're using this for school or for professional use. One downfall for this is that adobe flash player does not work and some of my school assignments involve this. Over all, great tablet!

As a professional performing and recording musician, I have been using my iPhone 4s, and currently my 5s to record scratch ideas and even finished tracks in the studio. The iPad air 2 was purchased to use even further in live performance. Not only can I used it to drive incredible synthesizer apps, but all the basics, FB, emails, and pretty much any other app you can think of. A lot of tablets have standard apps, but if you need power for music (or picture/video) Apple tablets are the ones to use.

the best tablet. thought about ipad pro but it was too big. ipad air 2 is fast and light, and reasonable size to travel.

I was planning to upgrade my iPad 2 back in August when I heard the rumors that Apple was coming out with a new iPad air. It took me a long time to decide to upgrade, but once I had decided, it was excruciating to wait for the new model. I am so glad that I waited! When I read the rumors about the expected upgrades on the iPad air 2, I wasn't impressed with the possibility of touch id. Now that I have it, I absolutely love it!! I am so frustrated with my iPhone 5 now that it doesn't have the touch id!! I don't know how noticeable the upgrades on the iPad air 2 would be if I were trading in last year's iPad air, but I can tell you that the difference between the iPad 2 and the iPad air 2 is incredible! The speed of the new processor, the resolution and the amazing light weight is like night and day from the iPad 2. On top of the wonderful upgrade, Best Buy gave me $200 trade in on my iPad 2! I am thrilled with the deal that Best Buy made on the trade in and I am thoroughly impressed with the new iPad air 2. I don't know if it is worth the money to trade up from the iPad air, but if you have anything older than last year's iPad air you should definitely trade up!

I bought this one to replace my old iPad 2. IPad Air 2 is lighter and running faster than my old iPad. Very solid product.

Nice screen fast processor. The only con is the metal is so thin when you are listening to music you feel the vibration.
