I've owned an iPad 2 and an iPad mini with the hopes that these devices would be able to replace my laptop. Although these iPads were great at content consumption, the lack of true multitasking (I often need to reference data from a web portal in Safari as I type in Excel or Word) was always the barrier to productivity. The iPad Air 2 with iOS 9 alleviates these concerns with its slide over and split-view solutions. Given Microsoft's Office apps allow you to view and edit documents for free, you can actually get work done on the iPad Air 2. Also, with its impressive graphics capabilities, I'll probably end up doing most of my iMovie creation rather than on my aging 2012 MBP. My only complaint is that the iPad Air 2 comes in such a thin and light design, you can literally feel the sound coming from the speakers when you're holding it. Also, you really need to buy the 64GB or higher capacity model if you're going to do work as the 16GB simply isn't enough storage for the apps you would want.

The device is consistent with similar products from Apple. The finish and presentation of the device are excellent. It is quick to turn on, and easy to use. This particular device was given as a gift, to an older individual (65+ yo) . It has been easy & intuitive for a non-computer user to navigate and operate. Please continue to develop and sell such wonderful products!

This is my 3rd iPad. I started with the 1st generation, moved up to 3rd generation and now upgraded to Air-2. The screen and graphics are phenomenal. The colors are vivid and sharp. I use my pad for gaming, pictures, streaming TV or movies and as an e-reader. Apple continues to impress with the range of apps available and the great graphics that make everything a delight!

So much faster than my iPad 2, I love it. Thinner and lighter as well.

I went to my local Best Buy to look for an IPad Air 2. I checked with an associate and foung an open box model in exactly the configuration I was looking for. The price was one hundred dollars less than a new one with full standard warranty. It works great. So much nicer than my original IPad.

So far I have found this to be a solid buy. I have not tried all of the different addons yet. I was worried about the amount of memory these had available but it seems adequate and you can expand it via Sd card
