    Upgraded from an iPad 2. Screen, speed, lite weight. All great. I use it mostly for hand-writing notes, it does not lag like old iPad, and stylus recognition seems to be more responsive

    I bought this for a colleague who needed it for his daughter living overseas. The tablet is perfect and exactly what she needed for school. The only negative is that I asked for a white one; in the store I was given a silver one and I didn't notice the tiny fine print until I got home.

    I was having a hard time deciding between the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini, but I'm so glad I chose the Air 2. I wanted a tablet to use as a "journal" with a folio keyboard, but also one that was small enough to carry in my purse. The mini (although lighter to carry) was very difficult to use with a keyboard, due to it's small size. The iPad Air 2 is PERFECT!

    Have upgraded to the ipad air 2 from the ipad retina. Am loving it so far, with a small learning curve. Was used to the volume control on the retina, and the air 2 has a separate toggle switch for up and for down. Has caused concern, but guess I won't do that again. :) Love the lightness of the tablet. Love how it syncs with my macbook pro laptop and my iphone.

    I had an older iPad; I didn't want a device for my personal activity--emails, internet, simple games--that was too big to easily travel with or too small to see. didn't want the new phones and didn't want a full blown PC size screen. Ipad Air 2 was the right size and had sufficient memory to load music and still have enough to download some movies, etc.

    I purchased this iPad because I was upgrading from the 3rd generation iPad and its a night and day difference. So much faster and using it you can barley tell its there with its size and weight. They really out did themselves this time it.
