Finger print reader and slimmer footprint

The smaller overall footprint, reduced thickness, and fingerprint reader make this a nice overall upgrade. Have not used long enough to rate battery life in comparison but it does seem shorter than the Ipad4 based on short term use.

Very happy with purchase

However, I love the built-in fingerprint reader. Way easier for me to pick up and unlock my device. I have not used Apple Pay yet, but that is also a great feature I look forward to using. Also love having the extra space (my old iPad was 32GB, my new tablet is 64GB). Highly recommend it, especially if you don't have an iPad Air!
