My initial purchase there was a problem with the shut off button and sometimes the screen would go blank when you are looking at something. The replacement is working fine.

Upgraded from iPad 2 and this is so much faster with such a nicer display. I also have iPhone 6 and iPad mini with retina and I use this as much as any of them. The width is about an inch less wide than my old iPad 2 but appears to have the same size display of course it's very thin relative to the other devices.

My summary says it all, I am coming from an iPad 3 (called "The New iPad" back then) and this has been a nice speed boost. I managed to get in on the trade in deal. $185 gift card and $50 coupon, for a total of $235 off the purchase price. With a screen protector I paid a total of only $440 for the 64GB model.

Got it for my kids because the schools drive apple products rather than much more cost effective and quality Android products. Don't prefer apple but they build a quality product, just don't prefer the cost.

iPads are the only real good mobile tablets nowadays and the iPad air 2 is testament of just how far we've come from the first ad or tablets even before that. Incredibly happy with my purchase and hope to see Apple using 2GB of RAM or more on all of their devices going forward, it really makes a difference.

Bought this iPad to replace an older generation one. The form factor is slimmer than my old one, the display is amazing, but most importantly, it is solid and reliable. Set up was a breeze; I was able to transfer all of my old content easily and quickly. You can't go wrong with this device.

ive held out for years. This is my first iPad. It is finally in a form that I will consider spending money on. Most of the remaining weight now is from the glass front and battery. It is light, thin and it never dies. I'm not tethered to a power source unlike my g3. still not a fan of iOS but I'll live.

I have an iPad 2nd generation, and it is getting very slow. Once we know the iPad Air 2 comes, we immediately planned to get it. While there is no game-changing upgrade, the upgrade in processor and camera are enough to break the bank. Overall Apple is still producing solid and user-friendly gadgets.

The lightweight tablet, multi window functioning, voice command and memory capacity are a significant improvement to the iPad 3 with Retina Display. The increased memory capacity allows for the full iOS 8 functioning with predictive text, spelling correction and increased photo capacity.

I never owned an I Phone or I Pad so I am amazed what all this ultra thin I Pad can do. My main reason for buying this was for face time, but that is just the tip of the I Pad. Take the classes from the Geek Squad they have showed me an amazing amount of short cuts and apps. Thanks !

Glad i upgraded to the Air 2. My decision to go for the 2 instead of the Air was helped when Best Buy gave me a great price for my Gen. 3 iPad. My only complaint is there is not enough cases out that I like and the one I like is not in stores and out of stock with the maker on line.

The iPad is loaded with the most advanced technology, which includes Touch ID fingerprint sensor. It has a 8 mega pixel camera with 64mb of storage capacity..You also can load many apps and the thing you can do are endless with this little marvel of technology. Thanks again, Joe

This was my first i-Pad and at close to age 60 I wasn't sure how fast I would catch on. It was so easy right out of the box. I do have an i-Phone so that probably helped, but I found it to be quite intuitive and have not had to rely on my techie sons at all!
