It's nice for a college kid.

I also like to use Facebook on it. It's really nice to have the finger print scanner. It helps when I'm in a hurry.

Excellent product, differs not much from iPad Air

Both are excellent products, but the iPad Air2 is faster and the display improved. So it depends what you want to do. Personally, I prefer the iPad Air2 since I am using the iPad Air2 for work and pleasure and found that the new iOS8 works better on the iPad Air2.
