Lighter and faster with a much better display than my 2nd gen. iPad. I wasn't sure it would be worth 'upgrading' but I'm very glad I did!!

The Ipad color is gold and is very pretty. The ipad is fast and the storage is great. The ipad is also very light and east to carry.

The last full size iPad I purchased was the iPad 2. I am very pleased with the size, weight, and feel of the iPad Air2. I also enjoy the fingerprint option instead of a passcode. What's really nice is not having to pay for some of the basic Apple apps like Pages, etc. iOS9 is great with the split screen option as well as the picture in picture when watching video. I would highly recommend getting this newest iPad.

I love this iPad. It's fast and very user friendly. The picture is very clear and the size is good for just about any application.

love, love, love this! The IPad Air 2 is lightweight, faster than the original and has a wonderful camera for both film and action shots.

This is lighter and thinner than previous. Also faster works very well and had no problems with it. It has done everything very smoothly

Very light, thin and faster than earlier iPads. It was for my sister in law and she loves it, switching from a Microsoft tablet.

I have owned numerous iPads and by far the iPad Air 2 is the best. It is thinner, lighter and faster, what else could one ask for?

That's the first thing you noticed before you pick it up. That new screen resolution is brilliant and startling if you are not used to other brands earlier step ups. Then of course the weight and thinness, a relief after long periods of handheld work. Faster performance? Yes, but not startlingly noticeable. Loading times for web pages are not that much faster but still slightly. No USB - STILL. Compare it with the new Surface is something I would love to do. Getting all the work ability of Windows is something I would love to try. It might be an idea to wait for next gen what with all the news/rumors coming from the Idrop news site. Fortunately worksite use is something I no further need so its ease in recreational tablet use i go for now.and possibly why it was purchased. Fine for us.

We love the IPAD Air 2. It is super fast, light so easy to carry. The graphics are really clear. Definitely would recommend.

I traded in my iPad 3 32gb toward the purchase of an iPad Air 2 64 gb. I was initially reluctant as I wasn't sure the supposed improvements would justify the ~$400 out of pocket expenses I would incur during the upgrade. The slimmer form factor and lighter weight is definitely a welcoming plus. What really pleasantly surprised me is the new screen lamination used in the Air 2. It drastically reduced glare and made the already stunning retina display that much more pleasant for prolonged usage. While usage under direct sun light is still not ideal, viewing in just about any other lighting situation is significantly better than my old iPad 3. The new processor is much faster too. I always felt that the A5 found in the iPad 3 struggled a little to push all those extra pixels found in the then new retina display. Overall, I would recommend existing iPad users of 4 or older to seriously consider upgrading to the Air 2. Go for the 64 gb or larger capacity (32 gb model has been replaced by the 64 gb model in this generation) as I felt the 16 gb would be insufficient for anyone that actually stores any reasonable amount of content on their device since iOS 8 already takes up a lot of storage space.

I love the iPad Air2. It is noticeably smaller than the iPad 2. The screen size is the same but it is thinner, slightly narrower and weighs less which is great if you are carrying it around. Siri and the Touch ID are great additions. The screen resolution paired with a tempered glass screen protector will blow you away. You will be amazed at the clarity. I can even answer my iPhone with the iPad (wifi only) with calls from other Apple users - similar to iMessage function. Highly recommended.

The i Pad Air2 has plenty of storage and is easy to use. The battery lasts quite a long time. The perfect size for use anywhere.

The iPad air 2 is Faster, takes great pictures and battery lasts longer. The iPad air 2 is lighter and easier to carry along with me. I had the iPad 3rd generation and the battery life was terrible. Usually had to keep it charging to use. Just getting used to more apps.

The iPad Air 2 is just an incredible product. A great compliment to my iPhone and MacBook. I take it everywhere and get so much use out of it. I have written documents, made spreadsheets, and built slideshows with it so far, and my kids love playing games and watching movies on it. It's lightweight, the picture is clear as a bell - very hi definition for pictures and video. Face Time calls with family are such a pleasure! Highly recommended, if you're looking for a solid tablet, this is the one.

I was looking to buy a tablet since I was going overseas for a couple of weeks and didn't want to drag around my laptop. Naturally I choose to purchase yet another Apple product, iPad Air 2. It's lightweight makes it perfect for travel and the battery on this thing is amazing. It's also quick, absolutely no lagging. I've had it for a couple months now. Another Apple product that does not disappoint!

This is my first iPad . It is also my first experience with Apple. I am retired and just wanted some thing small and easy to use . I have been using a laptop for several years and it is still functioning, but needed an upgrade. I did quite a bit of online research and talking to friends. Many of my friends have used apple products for years and convinced me that was the way to go. I was a little concerned about learning iOS, but was told that although it is a different environment than what I was used to, I could pick it up easily. So then I had to decide between a laptop, iPad or iPad mini. Since my laptop still worked, I decided to look at the iPads for the ease and mobility. At first I really thought the mini was the way to go, but I just felt the screen was a tad too small to read at my age. So I went with the iPad Air 2 . It is still small enough to take along almost anywhere. I do some traveling and sight seeing , it is great for taking pictures and video. I am still learning a lot about what it can or cannot do compared to my laptop. Since I don't use a computer for "work" , I have almost eliminated using my laptop. The one thing that drives me crazy is that trashing emails on my iPad does not trash them on my laptop. I also wish that it came in 32, 16 isn't enough and 64 is a lot. Battery life is great and doesn't take that long to recharge. So far it has been a great experience, and still a lot more to learn...

Waited to purchase an iPad for years. Always wanted one but wouldn't spend the money because I thought it wouldn't be something I used very often. Got it as a Christmas present and couldn't be happier. More than I ever expected. Love, Love, Love it! Much easier to use than I thought and has helpful hint messages that pop up. It is very useful. Spend the extra and get the 64 or 128. It's worth it.
