I have found the IPad Air 2 to be a really nice one I took it on a trip and was able to use it not having to lug around a much heavier laptop. So far it is doing all that I want it to do. I have taken several amazing pictures with it the clarity is really nice. Of course it is easy to use for email, Facebook, etc. as well. I was able to get it as an open box item saving even more $$.

It's hard to believe that Apple could improve upon the iPad Air, but they managed it with this device, the "iPad Air 2" launched in October 2014. It's even thinner and lighter than the astonishingly slim predecessor. It has the same remarkable all day battery life, but an even faster processo

I bought this for my wife. She uses her iPad daily for websurfing, email, and seek and find games. When she started complaining about slow internet performance on her five-year-old iPad 2, I figured it was time for an upgrade. She is much happier now and, as the old saying goes, we are both happier. Websurfing, email, and games run much faster on this iteration than on the original models. Additionally, it is noticeably smaller and lighter. As such, the old iPad covers will not fit the Air versions. The battery life is sufficient for all day use. I hope this helps anyone considering purchasing this model.

Now that I'm retired, I'm traveling more and like the big screen as compared to my IPhone. Touch ID makes it easy, and it was also easy to sync everything to my home computer and IPhone. At home I project movies, pictures, etc., onto our big screen TV from the comfort of my bed. Looking forward to warm weather again when I can take it outside and no longer be confined to my desk computer for work issues. I highly recommend this product because of its big screen and versatility.

This is a great product. I had a year old galaxy tab 10.12014 and it started to get leggy, when comparing it to the speed and responsiveness that my daughters iPad 4 which is several years old with tons of apps on it the Apple wins hands down. The older Apple still performed just as fast as it did the day it came out of the box. This new air 2 is much thinner and lighter than the iPad 4, as well as faster due to newer technology. I don't think I'll ever have a non Apple tablet again.

This iPad is fast with a great screen. Debated between the 64 or 128gb model and for my needs 64gb was sweet the spot.

I bought this for my Mother for her 71st birthday. She had an iPad mini 2 and used it all the time. Since the upgrade she's so much happier with the Air 2! It's bigger so it's easier for her to see the screen, play her games, etc. She uses it to talk to her kids and grandkids through FaceTime and surf the internet while sitting on the couch with my Dad. All in all, she absolutely loves it and wanted me to tell you that if a 71 year old woman can work this, anyone can ;-)

I bought this for my wife and she is not very technical. I have always found Apple products easy to use and this is no exception. She has taken to it quickly and is discovering how to do some things on her own. This device looks great and has a wonderful, thin & light feel to it; but also feels very substantial. We love it!

I was using an old iPad 2. I've had it for quite a few years and it's worked great and been very reliable. But I decided it was finally time to upgrade. I bought the iPad Air 2 the week of Black Friday and got 64 gig for the price of 32. I went to the local Best Buy so shipping wasn't an issue. My new iPad is great. It's much thinner and lighter. The display is awesome and so is the camera. And I really liked that all my programs on my old iPad loaded on the new one.

I chose the 64GB iPad Air 2 over the Microsoft Surface and have no regrets. I travel a lot and this device allows me to read books, watch movies, or play games while being portable and light enough not to be a bother. I love the size, style and function and while you can't have multiple windows open it's easy enough to switch between programs. I still have a windows based laptop but I find myself using the iPad 95% of the time. I wouldn't trade it for any other tablet out there!

Pro: 15-20% faster wifi access via wireless N over older iPad 2 /4 64 gb memory version is a big improvement...roomy Even faster yet on wireless AC if you have a wireless AC router Same Beautiful IPS screen resolution and smooth Apple UI Improved camera.... Still the very best tablet device out there. Cons: same battery life.... Pricey..... Only 1 yr included Apple warranty They made it way too thin & lightweight...a good case is a must! Don't like the little lightning plug...

Had ipad for years now and was ready to update to a larger storage to 64GB from 16GB. Operates the same but weight is less, operation is simple if your use to Apple products, takes some learning if your moving from an windows computer or laptop. Takes great pictures and screen size for viewing is nice.

Without turning this into an Android vs. iOS debate, I would like to make a pretty valid statement, that iPad's are great solid devices. Apple has done a great job with the upgrades over the years which has culminated in this latest iteration, the iPad Air 2. For most people, the differences are too subtle to notice, but they are there and they are outstanding. The screen - the optically bonded glass not only reduces glare, but makes the system a tad slimmer. Touch ID - just works, and I have found it extremely useful. Size/Weight - Its a marvel that something so thin and light still has this kind of performance. It's also gotten more comfortable to hold. Apps - Still the apps king, hands down. I know more advancements are in the works, but this iPad makes it easy to skip a generation or two as I feel most of what comes out next will be software upgrades.
