Light weight and fun to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've got a MacBook and a smart phone, so this isn't an entirely necessary gadget, but it has proven to be quite useful and fun. I'm using it much more than I thought I would. Great for texting and emailing, takes great photos. Unlike a smart phone, though, it won't send photos as email attachments. You have to either send photos within email, or download photos into a laptop or desktop, then send. The lighter weight and thinner profile are a real advantage over the regular iPad.

iPad Air

Compared to the laptop we were using, this is much faster and easier on the eyes and ears for streaming video. Disappointed how now we have to buy another cable to watch the video from this iPad Air on our (non-Smart) TV. Miss not having USB and HDMI ports, so it will take some getting used to. But overall, a great buy especially at Best Buy's special price.

got this for my parents for Christmas

I figured this only had 1 button really and they couldn't mess it up. They can now check their emails on their own, get on Skype with my sister in another country and use it to get on the Internet! Also downloaded some games for them and now they wont put it down :D they love it!!!
