New size and lighter weight are a nice improvement over the previous versions of the iPad. Really like the portability and ease of bringing it along on business trips or just to the park.

I upgraded my first gen Ipad with the new Ipad Air. This ipad has an A7 microprocessor chip which really improves navigation speed on the internet compared to the original Ipad. It also has a camera which works fine . The screen resolution is better than the first Ipad though my new Ipad Air does not have retina display. I must admit that I am an Apple fan boy and love the Apple IOS . All my apps and contacts automatically carried over to the new Ipad so there was no learning curve involved. This ipad is so much lighter and easier to carry around than the original so I am a happy camper overall and highly recommend it especially if you are thinking of upgrading.

Tried an Android tablet and, being an iPhone user, I just couldn't get used to that operating system. So I returned that and got my iPad. I found this iPad Air easy to set up, easy to use, and perfect for my needs (and a few new thing I hadn't even realized were available!). So happy!!

good features and takes wonderful pictures, very light and easy to figure out on how to use. I recommend getting a cover. We purchased a keyboard for it and it works much better for us.

This is by far the best ipad to date. Its lighter, faster, sleeker, and does anything you throw at it. With its 64 bit architecture and retina display its the cream of the tablet crop.

I purchased this as a gift to my wife to upgrade one of our older iPads. I had read about the new iPad Air being thinner, narrower, and lighter - at first I didn't think these qualities wouldn't be that significant but I was wrong. The 0.5 lb difference is noticeable in that my wife loves reading with it at night where she didn't with her last iPad (4th generation model) and has commented frequently on how much lighter the new iPad is. The smaller bezel and thinner design also adds a very svelte feel. In my opinion, this is the most significant change to the iPad ever - in context we have owned every generation of iPad except for the 3rd generation.

This is nearly 2 years old now, and works like a dream. no issues. Worth every penny. Stop buying cheap tablets, only to find they are slow and not worth the money....spend the money, keep the tablet, and after nearly 2 years, it runs better than most android tablets I've seen.

I love the screen size of the new IPad Air. It's light and fast. It's great to have the portability to take places that offer free wifi. A great assortment of apps on the apps store.

When I retired, I had to give up the school-owned iPad that I used daily. That meant I'd have to buy my own since I'd become "dependent" on having one. So, knowing that the iPad Air would be enough for my purposes, I saved money by choosing that option over the new Air 2 model.

Very light weight and faster than my other I pads. They keep getting lighter and faster, which is perfect. I use it for personal as well as work, The camera is perfect for both!

i have a iPad mini. Wanted a bigger screen size. Bought this on sale and very happy with it. Only wish I had bought one with 32g memory.

I'm a newcomer to apple products and find I love the ease of use and the protection from viruses. This pad was for my mom after I got one. I can do just about anything on them, but I use it mostly for emails, browsing the Internet and reading books. Works easy and fast.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift and the recipient is more than happy with it! I did a bit of research and felt that the advances of the iPad Air 2 were not worth the additional cost. This one is fantastic! Check the other features to decide if you really need them.

I got this IPAD air to replace my IPAD2 which was threw into the swimming pool by my son. Otherwise Ipad2 is good enough for watching movies, browsing website. After I got this Ipad air, I feel I should have upgraded to it earlier. It really rocks. I am happy with my purchase.

I love this tablet! It is so convenient and fast! Once I figured out navigation, I was off and running... it is thinner and lighter than most and I have the smaller processor and you would never know the difference, it is so fast! If you are in the market for a tablet, this is the one you want!
