awesome, great tablet with good battery life and display.

I bought this for my father in law. He loves the ease at which he can search the web and get mail. It is very user friendly. My father in law is 81 years old.

This is an amazing device. It is so light, and so powerful. And the battery lasts forever. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for their first tablet or who is upgrading from a previous iPad.

Bought for my grandma because she broke her old screen. The iPad has a nice screen and is relatively light for it's size. Apple is overpriced and in my opinion limited but she likes the easiness of the control.

I bought the ipad air mostly for home use. Instead of having 5 different lists of things lying around, I wanted this so I could make shopping lists, To Do lists and be able to take the ipad with me. It is great! I can put meal planning, shopping lists, recipes, etc on it and have everything in one place. I added my music and use it at work.

Having purchase this iPad for my dad and a non-apple tablet for myself around the same time, the Apple iPad needs very little to use other than the recharge.

I own iPAD gen 3, 4, and Air, and the iPAD Air is the lightest of them all. The screen size is 1/2 inch narrower, but all other features are the same. The retina display yields clear, sharp images. Battery life is 10 hrs.

The price was the lowest I found anywhere else. It shipped directly to my home in a couple of days. I am very happy with the IPad. It meets all of my needs.

I usually do not review products, and I have worked in the IT area for many years. I have always used Windows devices included many PCs and laptops and tablets. I have used Android phones only, so this was my first true look at the newer Apple devices. This tablet is the best device (not just tablet) that I have used for streaming on the internet and playing videos and listening to music and sending/receiving e-mails and texts. All of the apps that I want are available on this device - with many great free games and other applications. You can not go wrong with the Apple iPad Air!

Bought the new iPad Air after using my girlfriend's iPad w/Retina Display for the last year. I was planning on buying last years model at a discount but found that the price was comparable to the new iPad Air so I just went with the new one. In comparison with the last iPad, it is incredibly fast and incredibly light. On the occasion that I pick up our old iPad it feels so big and clunky compared to the Air.
