i have an original and now the Air. The Air is a much lighter and smaller profile than the original I-PAD while retaining the same screen size. The performance seems about the same to me though. Its just a lighter package.

this new iPad is so much lighter and faster than my old iPad 2. So happy that we opted to upgrade. And best buy matched the price of another store without a question. My son was so excited about his birthday gift!

It's just as I expected. I am very happy with this purchase. i love Apple products and find them easy to use. The camera takes clear pics. And the weight is so light which is a plus if I hold it for any length of time.

This iPad Air is yet another great Apple product! This not only has a crystal clear display and unbelievable refresh rate, but also is enjoyable to take everywhere, due mostly to its size and weight (or lack there of).

The iPad Air has been very easy to use and it is fast and powerful. My wife uses it daily for surfing the internet and other uses. She is not very comfortable with technology and has taken to this very quickly.

I bought one of these for my wife. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did. I like the screen size (vs working on my phone or full size screens). It's lightweight. Thin screen. Like the compatibility.

I upgraded from the ipad 2. The Air is a lot faster running and switching between apps, as well as with its internet connection. It is also a little smaller and a lot lighter, making it easier to handle. The only disappointing thing about it to me was that Apple didn't include the fingerprint scanner on it like they did the iPhone 5S. Seems to me like they had the capability to do so but chose not to. But that is my only complaint, nothing about what is actually on the Air has been bad or disappointing to me.

This was a gift for someone who had never been interested in computers yet with ease of using & comfort of the size, it has been used daily for Internet & games (all of which was the reason for the gift )

We had an iPad 2 for three years and upgraded to the Air! My wife and I both love it! It's so thin, light, slick, and the screen is FULL HD! The boosted processing power makes flipping from app to app a breeze!

my mom really love that ipad air, because she wasn't happy with past tablets. it's more faster, easy to use. the best present for me, when i see that my mom is really happy i can see that smile on her face ! :)

This was the most affordable IPad. It has exceeded my expectations. The speed is amazing. It is user friendly. The photos and videos are the highest quality. It does everything I need it to do and more.

This tablet was purchased to use for school. It does the job exceedingly well. Pairing up a keyboard via Bluetooth makes short work of assignments. Afterwards it handles Netflix like a pro for some downtime.

My oldest daughter loves her Ipad. It loads so fast and is so easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone. She can't wait until college starts back because she says this will be great to use in her classes

The lightness, sleek design, user-friendliness and outstanding display are just some of the great things about the i-Pad Air. I wish though, that Apple would give more memory for the price. Comparably priced Windows OS tablets provide a lot more memory. At least if there were internal options for expansion, other than the external (and possibly less secure) I-cloud, it would be a great enhancement.

Very easy to view and use. Fast and much better than mini for watching soap operas.

I've had an iPad2 for the past 3 years and have really enjoyed it. But, since my iPad2 still had resale value and the new iPad Air came out, I decided to upgrade. The lightness of the iPad Air is very noticeable and it is on a smaller frame, both of which are bonuses. And the increased speed is icing on the cake. The screen resolution is just beautiful. Comparing photos on the iPad2 and the iPad Air, it is very easy to see the difference in screen quality. This upgrade was so worth it.

I like the screen size, Internet speed, and light weight. I have the original iPad and this is a huge improvement. I also have an iPad Mini, and use it much less now that I have the Air. This unit is sleek and very easy to set up via the cloud. I quickly set up the Air using the cloud backup function, which was a great tip given to me by the Apple guy who happened to be in the store when I was evaluating the Air. Everything that was on my iPad Mini was quickly set up on my iPad Air.

This iPad Air was the best birthday gift ever. The battery lasts a long time and it takes fantastic pictures. I use it all day every day and don't have any complaints. I highly recommend the iPad Air.
